Just got it last night because I never really got in to Madden. Any other players here? I think it'll provide a nice chance of pace. Only think I'm unsure of right now is recruiting athletes. Do they pick a position later or something? That seems confusing to me. I like the gameplay a lot though.

You pick their position in the offseason, although for the most part they'll only be good at one position which will be obvious by what their stats are, especially on offense. On D it'll be DE/DT ILB/OLB CB or FS/SS. Hardly anyone will be good on both sides of the ball. Recruiting can be a lot of fun, but every year in the series it takes up more and more time and you just want to play a game sometimes.

I've always preferred NCAA over Madden because a Dynasty in more fun than a franchise. The NFL isn't as much fun when you don't don't have real players but you get new guys every 4 years in NCAA so it doesn't matter.
