Just shows he is an asshole. Most people don't care about that. When you combine that with below average play for the season it could become a problem.

Tom Jackson is a fucking idiot and this whole Cutler Meme is totally played out.

Gotta love the picture of Tom Jackson and Jay Cutler that they used. Tom is all smiles, beaming and loving life while the picture of Cutler is him looking like he just rolled out of a crack house, no smile, pale and hates life.

Fucking dumb.

Why is the sports minute two minutes long?

I hope you're not complaining. I could listen to Gottlieb wax poetic for hours upon hours. His...speech...pattern...is...soothing...and...I...like...sports...more...after...hearing...it.

I wonder if Tom feels the same way about how much of an asshole Chris Berman is.

Do you know for a fact he didn't high five them the few other times he came out during warm ups? Every athlete doesn't slap every hand in front of them.

This is an insane premise.

He's gotta stay on message! Jay must have pissed off ESPN early in his career cuz the character assassination over there will always continue. You guys are missing the point with Tom Jackson: he's a lifelong Bronco. He probably holds a grudge with Jay for skipping town when McDaniels came to town, cuz IIRC we never heard a peep about Jay's douchiness during his Bronco days... it's strictly a Chicago thing, which leads me to believe he was seen as a spoiled malcontent when he told McDaniels to fuck off and kickstarted the Kyle Orton/Knowshon Moreno eras in Denver.

I think the black sports media uses Cutler as their whipping boy for payback. Years of the racist white media criticizing black QBs was veiled racism. They picked Cutler cuz he is a jack ass and an easy target. He provided them an opening to get their revenge.

This just an act by Nas here today, but he usually does these things a lot better. Today he actually is coming off quite stupid/crazy. He'll post like this from time to time but usually does a lot better job of it.

I don't know and really don't care. I don't think anyone would argue that Cutler isn't an asshole. That's his right. If he played well I wouldn't care if he were Osama Bin Laden.

Maybe next week Cutler can tie the groundskeepers shoe.

He's alright. He's one of those jags that knows he's a jag. It's almost like it's a thing with him. He likes being a d-bag cuz he knows people hate it. It's worse if you are a d-bag and don't know it. I think he's good to his family and friends. That's all that matters.

At least he's not a phony. A lot of pretend nice athletes that do horrible things in private.

Like Beardown said  , I think he just doesn't like being phony. I consider him more of a smartass than an asshole. Asshole implies he's a bad person. I dont think he's a bad guy, I just think he has a low tolerance level for stupidity and doesn't like to engage in a lot of the phony, meaningless media part of being an athlete. I think that's understandable. He doesn't really ever come across as an asshole on his show.

This reads like a bad facebook "I'm not an asshole, I'm sorry I'm too honest" message.

He is an asshole. He doesn't care. He hasn't been liked by teammates pretty much everywhere he's been. He's obviously pretty hated around the league. This isn't just all coincidence.

I dont think it reads like a facebook post, but none of my facebook friends deal with idiot sports reporters all day long. I dont consider myself an asshole, and I would answer a lot of the questions he gets in the same way.

He's disliked around the league, no doubt. That doesnt apply to his teammates.

Multiple current Bears have said things about him, though Urlacher did it before he got there.

Who else? And what did they say?

DJ Moore said he shouldn't have pushed Webb in the game. He said you shouldnt call out teammates publicly, while calling out his teammate publicly. Sorry if that doesnt sound too credible to me. Webb is fine with Cutler, according to him. So who else has come out and said he's an asshole?

That still doesn't change the fact that multiple current Bears have said things about him. That's inarguable.

It's more than fair to think that Cutler isn't exactly Mr. Popular in the lockerroom, especially since he's pretty much disliked league wide. Where do you think that comes from? Jealousy from how good he is?

I forgot where they are forcing him to do The Jay Cutler show every week to take questions from a couple of idiot sports reporters. Ive listened to the show and nothing he's said has convinced me he's not the total asswipe he is portrayed as.
