Good job Knicks. Got it down to a 10-point deficit. It's a game again. Now show me your character.

So in a blowout why did Thabeet play 22 minutes while Perry Jones III only played 12? That makes no fucking sense. PJIII might actually be good and help them. We know Thabeet sucks.

Huge play by Z Bo. Terrible possession by Allen though. He's gotta not do shit like that.

Welp. Knicks couldn't pull it out, but I like how they fought back into it after their horrible start to the 2nd half.

You're right Farvio. Memphis looks real. They're probably the team in the West that nobody wants to meet in the playoffs.

Joe Cowley is not allowed to write about the NBA.

he writes about Noah being the best center in the east, which "eh" but then provides stats that contradict his point by showing that Anderson Varejao is his statistical equal and Lopez is not that far behind.

Brook Lopez is not in consideration for best center in the East.

Lopez is pretty far behind Noah, Tyson Chandler, and Varejao. A solid argument could be made that Brook Lopez is the worst defensive player in the NBA.

my main point was about how he wrote the article. Don't write an article that is contradicted by the statistics you provide. Not to mention that Varejao and Noah are virtual equals statistically.

He better be including himself in that. I didn't even have to see the game to know he did a terrible coaching job tonight.

Two NBA goodies from last night. First, the T-Wolves' Kevin Love had 23 with an NBA high 24 rebounds in Minnesota's 97-89 road win @ Sacramento. Second, a flu-ridden Kobe Bryant had 40 in the Lakers' home game vs. the Pacers. Indiana's George Hill tipped in the game winner with :00.1 left in the Pacers' 79-77 road win at STAPLES Center.

Why does COF love Anderson Varajao so much? I'd sooner have Ryan Hollins or Javale McGee. And no, I'm not joking.

I'm not sure where his Varejao love stems from, but I gotta disagree with you on Hollins and Mcgee. Im sorta interested to see how this year plays out though. If Andy finishes the season with 14+ rpg, would you still feel the same way?

I know I'm likely wrong on that thought, but I've always been a sucker for ridiculous athleticism, with the belief that you can teach all the other stuff. You can't teach athleticism.

But then again, I thought Tyrus Thomas would be an All Star, so...you know.

hold on a minute! I didn't say I loved Varejao...I said he was comparable to Noah, minus all the local hype. I was actually slamming him with the comparison all these years. However, with full minutes and more confidence in him from his coach (be that as it may be that Scott is a bad coach) he's now a good player, I'd say. As for your comparison, not on any planet would I want McGee over Anderson or Noah, for that matter. That guy's never going to be good at basketball. Supremely athletic? Yes. Stupid beyond measure? Yes. He's never going to be DeAndre, who's a much more comparable player before this year.

And your Tyrus Thomas comparison is pretty apt for McGee. Except McGee's even more athletic.

And Javale McGee takes basketball more seriously. Hard to believe, but its true.

Rondo doesn't take shit from anyone, especially some punk ass wannabe Kardashian trying to act like a bruiser. Well played Rondo.

Brooklyn's a soft ass team. 2nd round out is their ceiling.

That was a hard foul on KG, but I'm surprised KG didn't react. Five years ago, KG would've jumped up and punched Humphries probably.

But I don't like Rondo. I wanna see him get knocked on his ass.

Total selfish bitch move by Rondo. It was only the 1st half and gets himself ejected. KG is a big boy. He can handle Humphries himself.

Edit: Had a brain cramp and forgot how KG is one of the biggest fake tough guys around and prolly couldn't handle Humphries. Still a stupid punk move by Rondo.

That's not the point. Rondo wasn't protecting KG. He was standing up for him. Rondo used to be the outsider on this team, and he's gone through an extraordinary change in the last five years and is now the clear cut leader of this team, even taking the team on vacations and holding team meetings. KG is his guy, and this was Rondo telling the entire Brooklyn team that they better not think they are gonna just cruise past Boston. Despite all the Knicks love from the media, this is still Boston's division.

I guess we differ on how Rondo could've handled the situation. For me, if Rondo wanted to show Brooklyn this is still the Celt's divison he could've reversed the curb stomping once the 2nd half started. Instead he gets ejected.

Rondo's been around the block enough to know November games don't really mean shit.

Did I not see KG throw a punch in that highlight, if so, how was he not ejected?

"hard foul on KG"

Yeah...no, I don't think so. Garnett has devolved into a very detestable player. Rondo on the other hand...whateva. You wanna fight with an inconsequential player when you're down by 10 and on your way to more, go ahead.

Celts had a lot of guys taking midrange jumpers and missing. Bass for example. They're a way better team than Brooklyn, that's for sure.

Here's my problem, City. Rajon Rondo overreacted to the foul by going after the Nets' Kris Humphries. I think the Celtics' star ends up serving a game, maybe 2 game suspension by the NBA for his actions. I wouldn't be shocked if Rondo's out for the C's game vs. Portland tomorrow night.
