I listen to this show fairly regularly but listener parody songs are an instant PTFB for me. This contest is brutal.

There was a little too much time on it yesterday. It's not too bad sometimes and I think it's better than what McNeil and Speigel do.

at least give them time to produce a song and have silvy & waddle play it on the air. nothing more awkward than listening to TJ from oak brook try and sing "o holy line" and acapello for the first time since 5th grade chorus.

All parody songs suck.

You know what's worse than a parody song?

Some goofball dipshit host SINGING ALONG WITH HIS OWN PARODY THREAD.

FUCK YOU!

I thought most of the ones that came out of MJH were good.

Going to agree with you, the FILTER of what gets on the air via the JZ, Finfer, Mac and ultra fine screenings of Spiegs is just too much.

It's looking that way, I feel bad about it if it's any consolation. I get make that bit into a lemon face or roll my eyes a lot when I listen. I don't like the weird confrontations with interns and producers. I could do without the singing. Ya ever notice somebody will make a joke then he tries to take it over? He'll make the same joke or keep going with it. He says almost everything with a weird stage voice, I think it's a combination of Chet Coppock and the cowardly lion. He comes off as smarmy and condesending.

I don't feel like I hate him, but I can't listen to him for more than 5 minutes.

As usual the Jewish guys on the radio have no problem poking fun at Christmas and anything Catholic related, but have no problem celebrating their own religious holidays and acknowledge it on air with their new year greetings. Maybe Silvy and Bernstein should get a show together so they can just let it out together

This show has gotten much much worse as time has gone on. Silvy sure has a big head lately. Not sure if it's getting married or all the Twitter feedback, or feeling like he has BFF's with Cutler, Barkley etc. But he was more entertaining when he was a little nerd/twerp. The show has also gotten too mainstream and now that it's widely known there's all these suck-up listeners and callers. It's lame!
