NIU vs. Kent

I know you guys are probably as excited as I am, but somehow we have to make it 8 more hours until game time.
If Kent wins, they are going to the Orange Bowl. If NIU wins plus gets help, plus gets a little lucky, they could go too.


1. NIU victory tonight
2. Stanford victory tonight
3. Kansas State victory tomorrow
4. Voters do the right thing on Sunday and not mysteriously drop NIU a couple notches on Sunday

The bright side is that tickets to the 2020 Big Ten championship at the Georgia Dome should be easier to get.

I am pumped up for this game tonight. This will be the first MAC championship game with both teams ranked in the top 25. The best college football team in the state of Illinois has a longshot chance to play in the orange bowl, but it might be difficult to get into the top 16, which they need to be in order to get into a BCS bowl game.
