He's on pace for 1,344 rushing yards. I hope Rose is watching AP.

I agree with bigfan. I don't have any idea what his point was or is, but I agree with it.

Maybe when you actually watch the play and you see AP in the open field running like Urlacher today and why he didnt get in the endzone, you might actually see the reason.

It was a VERY Obvious limp on AP today. No that he didnt look strong, but the fact is the speed was lacking on his breakaway run and he was caught short of the goal.

This is what happens when you just read the stats.

Still concerned, will be happy to be wrong.

Peterson and Urlacher looked similar today!

54 couldnt even extend his knee on his TD return today! and thats after it is probably shot up!

Leading the league in rushing and had 171 yards this week, and 182 yards last week. Over 120 yards in each of his last 4 games, and 5 touchdowns in his last four games. I hope Derrick Rose is watching AP closely.

It's too bad AP lost his speed. If he still had it maybe he'd be on pace for 2,500 yards instead of a paltry 1,800 rushing yards.

DRose would put up 40 points on the Packers defense.

He only finished with 210 rushing yards? It clearly would have been 310 rushing yards if he didn't have that noticeable limp? Clearly still lacking breakaway speed, Just goes to show some people read stats, and some people watch games?

So when Rose is finally back, how awesome does everyone think he will be? We've all watched AP tear it up this year so I am expecting Lebron James levels of awesomeness for D-Rose. Will he be averaging 6 blocks a game now, or will it be 8?

Is it too early to crown him the NBA Finals MVP for this year?

Amazing to me how high Jamaal Charles is on the list with that crappy team and line around him

Julius Peppers has been dealing with plantar fasciitis all season. His average performance this season doesn't bode well for Rip.

That's not the same injury Rip has, and we're only discussing ACL tears here.

I expect Lance Louis to come back and be as good as Jake Long.

Biggie - you still maintaining that Peterson has lost his breakaway speed and is playing with a limp? If so, would rushing for 2,000 yards under those circumstances be the greatest athletic feat in the history of sports?

Sorry, but you said you would always call out Q for his bogus "Cutler has a career ending neck injury per my guy" thread, and I believe this is right along those same lines.

Ah, I apologi. If we're only talking ACL tears then Marcus Lattimore has nothing to worry about.

Although his rehab is going extremely well, Bulls' HC Tom Thibodeau said today that Derrick Rose "is a long way's away" from resuming practices with his teammates. That's the word from ESPNChicago.com's Nick Friedell:

When I posted it, a month ago, Peterson was limping and caught from behind on a 60 yard run down the middle of the field, which did not result in a TD.

Feel free to list AP runs over 50 yards that DID NOT result in a TD.

The point of the thread of course was the Comparison to Rose, which MANY didnt see any comparison, but now? All of a sudden it is a good comparison?

and this is an "AMAZING" recovery, per even some of the genius in this thread.

So do we need an "AMAZING" recovery for Rose?

You said D-Rose's trainer told Derrick to watch Peterson. I agree with you. I hope he's watching the NFL League Leading Rusher by over 300 yards very closely.
