Not sure if I'll bet the Starlet, as I generally try to stay away from fillies and mares. Female horses are too unpredictable.

As for the Runyon, it's featuring an up and coming 2yo named Notacatbutallama. Biggie, you may wanna put $300 on him. He's won his last 2 races by a nearly a combined 5 lengths. But he'll probably be a heavy favorite, so your $300 bet may only give you back $500 at this point. You may want to look at two other horses, one named In Harms Way, and another named Giant Finish. Maybe you could do a $25 Trifecta box on those 3 horses.

If anyone decides to bet the Starlet, I'd say do an exacta with Executiveprivilege and Blonde Fog. With Exec. being a heavy favorite, I would say to focus on BF. She dusted the competition in her first race at the end of Oct. But again, sometimes fillies and mares can be unpredictable.

Right now, the only filly that I really like is Eblouissante, the half sister to Zenyatta.

Scarlet Strike, huh?

I wasn't looking at PF in any exotics, but I did put down $10 bucks on her to win, so I came out positive from this race. You see my girl Blonde Fog almost won it from start to finish. But that's why I NEVER put too much faith in fillies.....

I also layed another bet down at Delta Downs that had me on the plus side, so it was a good day at the OTB.

I love to read what the DRF.com users have to say before an after these races.

Notacatbutallama fought hard in the last 300 yards, but could not beat out Smooth Bert. I actually stayed away from this race as I came out pretty positive from the Starlet on Saturday as well as an early race at Gulfstream Park yesterday.

I will be posting the PP's for the Cash Call Futurity when they become available.
