Haven't done it since college. The last time was on a road trip to the University of Iowa. Laying on the Capitol steps in Des Moines, tripping balls and stargazing when one of these flew down my shirt:



I got up and proceeded to jump around in some bizarro attempt to remove the hideous thing. I must have looked like Badger on Breaking Bad in the midst of his interpretive Riverdance moves after taking a big hit of meth. Good times.

I prefer mushrooms over acid. The last time I did acid was many many years ago at a Santana concert, was one of my best trips ever! I can't even find acid now a days, 10+ yrs ago it was all over the place now mushrooms are more prevalent.

My pops did it a lot during the late 60s/early 70s. Some of his stories scared me enough not to try it.

Acid is worse than mushrooms as mushrooms are more natural. You can definitely fuck yourself up if you do enough, my friend once took 6 drops of acid straight in his eye. That was a really fun night!! I would never do acid again but I will do mushrooms again in a heartbeat.

I would say yes. But only because from what I know it does to spinal fluid, it was enough to keep me away from it...

Ecstacy and MDMA are the drugs that will fuck with your spinal fluid. Real LSD doesn't affect your spinal fluid one way or the other, and neither do mushrooms.

It's my experience that acid stories are GREATLY exaggerated.
I've had plenty. Never say a cartoon character chasing someone with an axe.
Mostly it's manipulations of things that are actually there. Like for example, seeing a doorknob slide down a door toward the floor. Trails. Colors in shadows. Stuff like that.
When someone says they saw Mickey Mouse chasing them with a knife I know they've most likely never done acid.

Yep Darko's right. You don't really see things that aren't already there. Things that everyone else see either move(the more detailed the more it moves) or can appear like they are morphing into something else at your peak. DMT is a drug that will make you hallucinate cartoonish shit and stuff like that. Shrooms and acid are pretty similar in how they affect you, shrooms distorts your visual hallucinations a bit more and acid affects your perception of sound and music more. If you're even slightly hesitant about taking either one I'd suggest abstaining. If you go into it thinking you're gonna love it, you probably will.
