Superman's problem isn't that he has too man powers. It's that:

1. He is too much of a "Boy Scout" aka "Goody 2 Shoes"
2. His nemisis (@ least in some of his movies) are always some lame ass humanoid like Lex Luther. He's the world's most powerful man, why not have him go toe-2-toe vs Darkseid or Gorilla Grodd. Fuck, Gorilla Grodd is the Flash's arch-nemisis! Even the Flash has a better arch-nemisis! He needs an "out-of-this-world" type enemy.
3. He needs to work out a 3 way w/ Lois Lane & Wonder Woman. Then he'd get my respect.

In this movie,the reverent tone might hurt it. This was played up in the last incarnation of Superman. The popular Christopher Reeves movies had some comedy to them. I think Superman should be filmed in bright color not the grey hue this movie looks to have taken. The villian (General Zod) looks to have potential. I hope it's a hit.

As a super hero character, many have voiced why I always thought Superman sucked shit .... it's a matter of what can't he fucking do .... the cheat-code superhero.

Having said that, how would Superman kill Wolverine? I'm not entirely interested in an answer, just thought I'd throw that out there because I'm sleepy and don't have any good sense in reserve presently.
