Eric: Well, you'll, ah, always, ah, be a loser junkie.

Artie: Well that's hurtful.

I flipped to Nick and Artie on cable last night at halftime of the championship game. Artie was wearing a Glascott's sweatshirt.

Bonnie Bernstien was a guest. I don't know what happened to her but she looks completely different. She doesn't have that distinctive cuteness anymore.

How does somebody with such limited sports knowledge as Artie, get a show talking about sports?

He was ignorant of something yesterday that was as basic as could be in the world of sports.

I like him on the radio but I have a feeling that guy has an incredibly dark side, nowhere near the falstafian character he plays on air.

Yeah, I tried to listen to Nick & Artie once...................once...

I wish there was some way Artie could find his way back to Stern again and not turn into a raving lunatic in the process...

I couldn't agree more. I'll take Artie sleeping over another Sandra Bernhard interview any day. However, that would mean he's back on the evil H. He's probably better off.

I thought it was obvious at this point.

When he stabbed himself in the stomach repeatedly with a kitchen butcher knife, I got the sense that he's able to go to some dark places.

He's not much better even without the Stern show. He is as big as ever, looks homeless and has been missing shows due to "illness" lately. Artie will blame it on his dad, the difficult hours of the show, pressure, etc. but he simply is a self destructive personality. He would have fucked up the high paying dock job he had if had stuck with that.

I think he tossed a CD at Sal. Teddy was the Hawaiian Punch and full bull charge.

That was right about the time when I stopped listening everyday. Way too much manufactured drama.

I'm watching David Spade on HTV right now. It doesn't take a psychiatrist to figure out how damaged Spade is beyond the stories. He apparently insisted on a stand mic, since everyone else uses the typical setup. Ear buds, and sunglasses. He's also sitting Indian style on the couch. However, I'm seven minutes in.

Spade pulls great tail and has been working consistently since SNL. I cannot figure out why either is true. I bet he has been on network prime time tv for the last 15 years and I haven't watched a single minute of any of his shows.

if the show's become bad, the commercials are just godawful. everything from the fresh & sexy wipes "clean pecker" commercials to the sleazefest of cougarlife, seeking arrangements, and ashley madison...christ.

this week has kind of sucked too. alex jones wasn't even an interview, it was just an advertisement for his QBo-esque rhetoric.

I use the app when I wake up, rewind back to when it started and then fast forward past all the commercials. So much more enjoyable.

I was excited about Sheikie being on, but he sucked. I find Alex Jones entertaining, but that wasn't a great interview. Last week was good, IMO.

And on the advertisements, I love how they have all of those sex ads, and then cupcakes for men.
