Pretty much picked the best place to grab a piece of meat in Bloomington. Were you seated in the room next to the open grill? Love sitting in that room and the smell of grilled meat wafting through the air. If you didn't have to go to the IU game you could've stayed at Crazy Horse to do "round the world in 80 beers" :drunken:

Did you have a chance to play "sink the biz" at Nick's?

Best ribeye I've ever had... including Gibsons. Cute waitress until I found out she is EXACTLY half my age. 19 (Gulp)... dirty old man alert.

No "sink the biz" at Nick's. What's that? Surprisingly the place was kinda dead.... but I guess it was because it was a Tuesday night, right?

Nick's is a upper classmen, professor and game day bar. On Tuesday's the bar across the street Kilroy's has $2 Tuesdays. So after the game all the student flocked to Kilroys to get hammered and find someone to take home.

Sink the biz is Nick's drinking game. They pour a pitcher of beer into a bucket and then float an oversized shot glass. People pour beer out of their cups into the glass and try to sucker the next person into sinking the glass so they have to drink up.

 I love the fact that Indiana basketball is back at the place where one loss brings out the love of all the jealous haters.

That was hardly hating (though I freely admit to not being a fan of Indiana). It was a rough day for them. They had a tough game today, Zeller played poorly defensively, and they lost to an in state school.

I doubt Brick has much to say. His team got pounded by Notre Dame today and is sitting at 4-6 on the season.

They better drop below Illinois. They beat Butler by 17 on a neutral court.

It's OK. There's always next year.

That is a great attitude Doc. I am sure the Illinois collapse this year will be easier to swallow with this attitude.

When Brandon Paul accepts his Big Ten Player of the Year Award, I'm sure he'll acknowledge Cody as a kid to keep an eye on.

Nothing wrong with a loss. Keeps them grounded.

Of IU's 2012 5 person recruiting class, 2 players had to serve suspensions for getting illegal benefits, another player is currently not playing as he reportedly is being investigated for violations, and another player "didn't qualify" for the fall semester even though he was enrolled in IU's summer session. 4/5 have had issues.

Even Kentucky thinks that is a little bit much.

Eh, IU will have it down to a science in the next 2-3 years. Growing pains. :D

Luke Fischer had 20pts, 20rbs, 3blks and 4 assist last night. I can guarantee you won't have any of the above mentioned problems out of him.

Indiana wins at Iowa.

Sorry Vince.

The only disappointment I had in that game was how poorly Iowa shot. They had plenty of open looks and just couldn't fill the basket. It's definitely fun to be a Hawkeye basketball fan again.

I hear ya completely. It is way more fun to watch basketball when your team is competitive each night. Iowa is going to knock off a lot of teams this year, especially at home.

I'm surprised you still know what a bowl game is.
