It sure seemed to work for McCarthy when they flagged his guy for the hold on Jeffrey in the 3rd quarter and the next 3 ticky tack calls calls went against Jeffrey

Point taken, however sports, especially football, is an emotional endeavor. Yes one must keep their cool and be tactful, etc. but there comes a time when leaders need to lead and standing on the sidelines with one's clipboard in one's hand as call after call goes against your team and you do nothing, shows a lack of awareness as to the need of your team to believe their leader is engaged and leading.

The reality is this probably was a good outcome as it is becoming increasingly clear that Lovie Smith's days as Bears head coach are coming to an end.
