Lovie could actually coach from the booth and there would be no difference between that and having him on the sideline...other than throwing the red flag which most would prefer he not do anyway.

Marshall said people should be held accountable. Okay. Leery really led us astray again.

The Bears remind me of the last year of WCW.Total dysfunction.

I agree with Q.Bovifs. This season might still be saved with 2 games to go.
The ultimate goal is to win the Super Bowl. IF a new Head Coach gives this team a spark going into the playoffs,so be it.

The Bears have been broken and there will be no playoffs.

This off-season will be the fiery Baptism of Phil Emery.

Depending on the choices made these next few seasons may be lean indeed.

Fire Lovie Smith.

One of the signs of a lousy Manager is not being able to recruit, hire, & retain quality people. Lovie has never been able to recruit, hire & retain quality football guys. Successful organizations put good people in place & have a long term strategic plan that they focus on & stick with. Organizations who are constantly churning through people & replacing people will always struggle. The Bears stuck with Lovie even after he proved that he cant lead people or an organization. He isn't loved by his players & his players do not play hard for him. Lovie is the same guy behind the scenes that he is in his press conferences...a smug, arrogant, stubborn douchebag who is disrespectful to his players & coaches. This I have heard from current & ex players.
The time has come to improve the Bears organization & stop settling for mediocrity. Fire the entire coaching staff, let Urlacher go, let Cutler walk, & hire a head football coach who has at least done the job before & start all over. No more Peter principle hires. There are numerous quality experienced head football coaches who are available. There are also some great College head football coaches like Chris Peterson. Its time to hire one of them. The Bears made a huge mistake when they declined the chance to hire the next great young head football coach in the NFL 3 years ago. This shit show has run its coarse.

No you haven't.

College coaches are rarely successful when they make the jump to the pros. The job is completely different. Stop blowing your guy Harbaugh. He's an outlier.

Still an idiot, Scorehead. If anything Lovie is too loyal to some of his players. I don't believe Lovie is disrespectful at all to his players. The one thing I'll say about his teams is that they do not quit. They may be bad, but they are still out there trying.

I wont name names, but I have spoken with 3 players and a couple of media members & none of them had a good thing to say about Lovie. He treats people like shit. Is that really all that surprising given his douchbaggery?

With regards to college coaches being successful in the NFL, don't forget about Pete Carroll. And I was right about Harbaugh.

There has been a whole lot of quit in this team. The players dont "love playing for Love" any more than players love playing for any coach. I have no idea why people buy into fantasy land theories like this.

Pete Carroll's career record is 56-54, and he has never won anything. Try again.

Name names or don't say anything at all then. This is worse than bigfan's 'Larry didn't say hi to me' story.

I can 100% factually state that the Lovie that speaks to the team behind closed doors, is not the same Lovie that you see in front of the media. It's a calculated act for the media.

The fact that Lovie's offenses have prevented this team from being SB contenders every year has frustrated the hell out of me but why would you fire a top 10 to 15 coach to replace him with unknowns or coaches that have failed several times? The Bears are in the hunt for the playoffs every year. There was a time not long ago where that wasn't true.

I'm just tired of his in game decisions and lack of adjustments. He has a plan and if anything slightly throws him off of it the wheels come flying off and the team is lost. Maybe that is the coordinators fault but he is the guy in charge and the guy who brought this collection of asshole coaches to town.

I want a team that can win a Super Bowl, not a team that finishes between 7-9 and 9-7 every season and hope to squeak into the playoffs and get lucky.

Lovie is bad.
The team does not respect him.
B Marsh came to the Bears because of Cutler.

Not true. People don't calculate acts that make them appear worse & more dis-likable than they really are. It always goes the other way...the guy is really a prick but puts on a happy face in public.

It is never wise to reveal ones sources. One of the guys is heard on the Score frequently.

In other words, its the same source that Panther had about Cutler's career ending injury.

Figured.
