He hasn't done that all year. Just sayin'.

In fact, he's never passed for 3 and rushed for 1 in a single game.
More, he hasn't passed for 2 and rushed for 1 in a single game.
Wait there's more.....

There's always a first time for everything.

Redskins will finish 2-1 and have a great shot at 3-0. Bears will have to go 2-1 or they won't make the playoffs.

That Redskins/Browns' game is huge, and not just for Washington.

Bears have a 65% chance of making the playoffs. That sounds about right.

Yeah. That does sound about right. If you put one more Bears win into the math (Vs Arizona for sure) I'll bet it's 85%. They obviously didn't chalk up one more win for the Bears to get that 65%. I am. I think one more win gets them in.

So you think the Redskins go 1-2 or 0-3? I think if the Bears go 1-2, they have about a 40% chance of getting in. If they go 2-1 it'll probably be about 70-75%. After they lose to GB this week it will probably dip down to 50%.

Interesting from the guy who said I was crazy for saying I didn't like the Bears chances of making the playoffs or beating Minnesota.

Alright man, how many times you want me to say you were right and I was wrong about the Minnesota game? Before that game, the Bears were over an 80% favorite to make the playoffs. I still think they will make the playoffs, and they will almost definitely make it if they go 2-1 in these final three games, which I think they will still. If they don't, congrats on being right.

Bears need to lose the next 3 games, so the McCaskeys can sell the team, the new owners can then blow this bitch up so we can win a SB in 2014. #2yearplan

Playoff picture is jumbled. #Bears have easiest schedule of teams in mix. Mapping out teams & remaining schedules:

Redskins (8-6): at Eagles (4-10), vs. Cowboys (8-6)

Seahawks (9-5): vs. San Francisco (9-3-1), vs. Rams (6-7-1)

Vikings (8-6): at Texans (12-2), vs. Packers (10-4)

Bears (8-6): at Cardinals (5-9), at Lions (4-10)

Cowboys (8-6): vs. Saints (6-8), at Redskins (8-6)

Giants (8-6): at Ravens (9-5), vs. Eagles (4-10)

Rams (6-7-1): at Bucs (6-8), at Seahawks (9-5)

The Bears have a 5-5 conference record right now and that could be a tiebreaker that will make things challenging for them. They most likely will have to win out and that is possible.

A couple notes:

1. Only one of the Redskins and Cowboys could finish 10-6 because they meet in Week 17. The Bears will be rooting for Dallas because they beat the Cowboys and own a head-to-head tiebreaker.

2. The Vikings’ schedule is treacherous. I simply don’t see them in the mix.

3. Who knows what to think of the defending Super Bowl champion Giants. They are reeling after a 34-0 loss at Atlanta today.

4. So, there is still plenty to be determined.

I think the Bears win @AZ, barely escape Detroit with a W, surprise the hell out of everybody and win at Lambeau Field on Wild Card weekend, then hang around in the first half and get blown to bits in the second half of their Divisional Game.

Green Bay will finish with the 2 seed when Seattle beats SF this week and GB wins out.

Substitute Giants for Bears. Giants control destiny and play @Ravens and Eagles. The stars will align for Giants to play @ Lambeau. And the Pack will get their asses kicked again.

Bears have a one game lead over these three teams for the last wild card spot. Bears have the tie breaker over the Cowboys. They won't have it over the Redskins (Redskins will have a better NFC record). Vikings can't do it.

Leader:
Chicago Bears (8-5)
Remaining opponents: Packers (9-4), at Arizona (4-9), at Detroit (4-9)

Looking In:
Washington Redskins (7-6)
They've split their season series with the Giants and have a chance to sweep Philly and Dallas on the year, putting them in good shape in the case of an NFC East tiebreaker.
Remaining opponents: at Cleveland (5-8), at Philadelphia (4-9), Dallas (7-6)

Dallas Cowboys (7-6)
They'll need to keep winning and hope for some help along the way.
Remaining opponents: Pittsburgh (7-6), New Orleans (5-8), at Washington (7-6)

Minnesota Vikings (7-6)
The Vikings don't face a losing team again.
Remaining opponents: at St. Louis (6-6-1), at Houston (11-1), Green Bay (9-4)

Exit the Redskins as competition. Enter the Giants (8-6). Giants will have the tie breaker vs the Bears. Better NFC record.

Giants Schedule:
@ Ravens
vs. Eagles

You'd think next Sunday's road game @ Arizona is a gimme for these Bears, right? Wrong. The way they've been scuffling on offense and have been terrible on defense, in addition to losing guys left & right, it's far from a sure thing the Bears end their misery vs. a Cardinals' team that snapped their losing streak vs. a just as disappointing Detroit team yesterday afternoon. I wouldn't be shocked if rookie Ryan Lindley of all people carves this defense and the Bears lose another game they should win.

Bears need to go 2-0 now. Only way to get in. Cowboys don't matter. If they match a Bears 2-0 finish, they're out, unless that gives them the East. It's good that the East could come down to that last Cowboys vs. Redskins game. Cuz the Bears will need the Cowboys to win that most likely.

With the Bears finishing 2-0 the Vikings and Giants or Redskins need to finish 1-1. That's it. It's that simple.

Bears: @ Cardinals, @ Lions

Vikings: @ Houston, vs Packers (Tough. Both opponents need the games for seeding)

Giants: @ Ravens, vs Eagles (Ravens still haven't clinched their division)

Redskins: @ Eagles, vs Cowboys (Cowboys need to beat them for Bears to get in)

Cowboys: @ Saints, @ Redskins
