The Giants, the 49ers in the 80s, the patriots for heavens sake all get booed! If anyone deserves to boo its Chicago fans. Urlacher can join the rest of his soft teammates and pull their panties up and stop blaming everyone else. How about when Alshon drug shields down the field by his helmet and it was called on shields? He deliberately extended his arms every time on those plays. Even Mike P (former head of officiating) said all three penalties were correct. And yes holding should have been called on Shields, but so could a face mask penalty on alshon. Bottom line is the bears arent the worst team in the league, but they are basically a .500 or so team depending on schedule. They can beat bad teams, they are avg against avg teams, and they cant hold the jocks of the big boy teams. And I am no Packer fan. I lived my days with Steve Stenstrom, Tim Rattay, Shaun Hill, JT Osullivan, bad Alex Smith, etc in SF. Im a realist. This team will go no where until they blow it up like the Cubs did. Time to fire everyone, even the water boy. Completely clean house start over. Get picks for whoever you can and start over. New England did it, SF did it, no reason the bears cant.

The Patriots never really bottomed out, unless you're counting the early '90s when Parcells came in. They've basically been competitive for twenty years.
