It's not worth the effort.

Although I commend you for your efforts. Keeping Score also corrected him occasionally.

Had the podcast here. The quote was (roughly off by a few words) - you stand by that fence and you give them a big kiss and part of me has been wondering "is this the day it happens here" and everyday part of me thinks, even before this happened today, you think that because you know it's not going to stop...

I guess I had it right, OKC.

Once again, I call bullshit. Dan used to tragedy to get all dramatic. To speak in a breathless voice about his daily fears when he drops off his kids and hands them over to the evils of the world. Cuz he wants people to think he's this great father. He claimed he had these thoughts before Newtown. Before Newtown? Bernstein said "You know it's never gonna stop." What? He had this concern before Newtown despite the fact that never in the history of America had an elementary school been shot up. It happened in a high school and a college lecture hall. But never an elementary school. Dan is full of shit.

By the way, why don't any of you call out OKC when he wrongly calls out me. Actually, I guess Doc just did that.

Doesn't every man want people to think they are a great father? Nothing wrong with that.

Although he's douche in his professional life he's given no reason to think he's nothing but a fantastic father.

You would want your kids to think you're a great Dad. Why Bernstein would want his meatball listeners to know is vain and
narcissistic. To use the tragedy to lie about your fears is shameful.

When the high school and college got shot up it was done by a student on his fellow students. No reason to think a 4th grader would shoot up a school. For Bernstein to claim that he thought to himself, "It's never gonna stop" when it never had begun proves it's a lie.

I only correct so that my future criticisms of Beardown aren't viewed as unfair.

Does anyone know what Jason actually said? To warrant that kind of approbation, I assume he must have implied that anyone who disagrees with him is a racist antisemite.

Just went back on Bernstein's twitter page. Here's the comment that prompted Bernstein to say that America needs to hear Goff after tragedies.

Jason Goff ‏@Jason1Goff
It's just too easy to obtain a firearm. All the gun people who are hitting me with your rationales; I don't need them.

What a voice. How profound. Nobody else in America would have come to the consclusion that firearms are too easy to obtain. Atlanta's gain was our loss.

Several of us have corrected him over the years, but it just does not seem worth the effort any more.

You failed to acknowledge that OKC was wrong and I was right according to Doc's podcast research. Was crediting me not worth the effort?

Maybe he meant it in the general context of exposing his kids to all the evils that are in the world rather than the specific one of gun violence. I can see his point if that is true.

The category of people who both listen to entire B and B shows AND read all of Beardown's posts is very small.

No. Based on Doc's quote of Bernstein, it was clear he was saying he woried about a mass shooting before the Newport killings. What other evils are you worried about as your kids walk into elementary school? Your kids being picked on? Getting lice? Your kids are protected from the true evils in school, for the most part. No parent thought this could happen before it happened. Neither did Bernstein. He lied for the drama effect.

Goff once accused me of lying when Da Ma Na confronted him. I was proven right in that case, too. I'm still here. Goff is in Atlanta. :P

It's funny, Doc proved me right in this case and I don't hear an "I'm sorry" from OKC. Whatever.

If anything, Ken proved us both wrong.
