Henry Melton
J. Peppers
Tim Jennings
Peanut Tillman
Brandon Marshall

How in the hell does Lance Briggs not make it? Henry Melton? But no Briggs? BS. I know it is just the pro bowl and it really don't matter, but Briggs deserves to be selected.

He will only play in 11 games this year...but he will probably have more sacks this season than Briggs does for his career...olb in 3/4 will always do more n get more recognition than an olb in 4/3....Briggs had a very good year...just not as good as ware,Smith or Matthews.

somebody's gonna overpay for Melton. I hope its not the Bears. His making this list is bad for the Bears.

J-Pep did not have a pro bowl worthy season. He didn't show up for 6 games.

You continue to believe that the only way a DE shows up for a game is by lots of sacks. He had 11.5 of em, which is pretty good. But he impacts the game in several other ways.

Incorrect. My opinion of Peppers has nothing to do with sacks, but rather the games where he was awful and completely dominated by the opponent...and there were some games where he was on the sideline for more plays than he played. Dont be surprised if he isn't on the Bears next year.

A guy can still have a Pro Bowl (or even MVP) type season with a couple of bad games mixed in. This is true for any sport. You think Rodgers didn't have a bad game when he was MVP? You think Derrick Rose didn't have a few clunkers a couple years back when he was MVP?

Your opinion is your opinion. Its terribly misguided and thats why you come across as an idiot on this particular subject.

Melton is a league leader amongst DT for sacks. Briggs is a great player, but he's constantly at a disadvantage for the Pro Bowl because he doesn't pile up sacks. It goes to show you good he that he's been recognized as much as he has in the past.

It's a little interesting that the rest of the teams in the division each has a perennial MVP candidate.

How does Manning get the nod over Brady?.... Brady has more tds less picks n won the game when they played against each other.

Every Sunday,it seems like Briggs is either making a tackle or around the ball on every play. He would have been my 1st Defensive Bear Pro Bowl pick.
