Get Borderlands 1, should be able to get the deluxe version used really cheap. Then, after you finish it, get Borderlands 2.

Call of Duty Black Opps 2 has both Zombies and Nazis(ok maybe not Nazis but bad guys I think, as I just play multiplayer).

You should be able to get them for pretty cheap now, but I highly recommend Gears of War, and if you like that then Gears of War 2. It's really fun with another person, so if you have any friends that would work.

I don't know if you ever played Half-Life, but "The Orange Box" is a really good way to play some great games.

Also, Left 4 Dead, and Left 4 Dead 2. Those are nice for playing with friends too, if you have any, which I highly doubt you do.

You could look through the games each of us have played and see if there's any games that show up for several people, and if so, see if those games trip your trigger. Oh, look for the "compare games" square/tile/whatever-the-fuck-they-call-it on each 'friend' to see their list of games.

Fun Fact: The original Final Fantasy was called so, because Squaresoft was about to go out of business. They thought FF would be the last game the company made. Oops, I guess it was fucking awesome & every Asian kid found out & bought it, saving the company & making a true nerd out of Colonel Angus.

I never got either of them 'cause I didn't like the whole "you only have x amount of time" to finish the game .... I tend to wring every minute out of games. If several had it or were inclined to get it, I'd see what I could do to scrape some dimes together (not entirely an inaccurate description).

Good God, man .... it occurs to me that everything is new to you .... go get a copy of Bioshock. Absolutely a game you both would enjoy, even if one of you just watches. And play it with little other light sources, and loud as fuck.

Borderlands 1 and 2 have been routinely singled out as the best co-op multiplayer games in the FPS genre. B2 was just named co-op game of the year by Game Informer.

I'm guessing that the similarities you'd hope for are present; it's a really good game to play, to watch someone play, and to immerse yourself in, and it's made so well that it's not hard to do any of the three.

Probably not 2013, either.

From what I've read, a 720 could pop up in Spring. You won't hear anything until the Christmas holiday wraps up so they can sell as much inventory as possible.

Also would be bad, because by Xmas time nobody will want one anymore.

Anyway, the way things are w/ Microsoft, we'll have the XBox 1080 by 2015.
