Exactly. I'd be destroying Cutler if he ever refused to enter a game. So would FavreFan. You can't just ignore it when Tebow does it.

Well that completely different.

Tebow is a nice white Christian.

Holmes is a selfish thug.

Schefter’s report does not specify, however, whether Tebow flat-out refused to play in the Wildcat when he found out on Tuesday that McElroy was starting, or whether Tebow merely said he was unhappy that he wasn’t getting the opportunity to start.

Whatever transpired between Tebow and Ryan, Tebow did tell Schefter that on Friday he told Ryan that he was willing to do whatever it took to help the team win.

A player should not have to do that.

That was nice of him to stop pouting on Friday.

I don't disagree with your premise that Tebow sucks, but I do disagree with these statements. He's the best QB on the current Jets roster.

If he is the best QB on the roster, why is Ryan dying on the vine with Sanchez? If Tebow was better, Ryan would play him. NFL coaches don't sit their best players. Ryan knows it. The players know it. If he played Tebow, the team would have quit on him.

It's pretty apparent that the team did quit on him.

 At least publicly.

Of course he didn't say this: Tebow did tell Schefter that on Friday he told Ryan that he doesn't give a fuck.

Not sure I'd believe anything the Jets have ever said about Tebow.

They were still alive for a wild card last week. They didn't quit, they are just not very good. Look at those WRs.

It's impossible to evaluate the WRs because they had the AFC Ryan Lindley throwing them passes all season. Larry Fitzgerald hasnt had a good season either. It was patently obvious the Jets were not a playoff contender since before Thanksgiving, despite whatever slim mathematical life they may have had til last week.

Tebow met w Ryan on Fri. after being taken out of Wildcat packages in practice Wed/Thurs. Wanted to make clear he'd do whatever coach asked.

Might Timmy get a chance to start a game for the Jets after all? ProFootballTalk.com reports that Greg McElroy was injured in the Jets' latest loss to the Chargers. McElroy has an abdominal issue, and there's a chance that Timmy Tebow and/or Mark Sanchez might be QB-ing the Jets Sunday at Buffalo.

Tebow should start Sunday. If he can't put up good numbers against Wanny's defense, he can't put up good numbers against anybody.

That tells you how much Jets' HC Rex Ryan REALLY thinks of Tim Tebow...
