I went with the underdogs.
Denver -16 vs. KS and SF -16.5 vs. Arizona.
Any thoughts on this?
In confidence spead pools, I love going with big underdogs for low confidence. 16 points is not easy for anyone to put on anyone any given sunday.

I think Denver covers. Not sure about SF.

KC wants to lose, Denver needs to win, and it's at Denver.

49ers are a strange team. Sometimes they just can't score.
You might be right about Denver but KC been getting embarrassed all year long and I don't think they'd want to go out like that. That being said, they may just want to get it over. THAT being said if this was week 9 I'd go underdog and never think twice. Week 17 picks are always hard.

KC is playing for the draft pick. Or not playing for it, whatever the case is.

It's just them and Jax right? If Jax loses to Tennessee who gets the pic, assuming KC loses to Denver?

I believe KC has the #1 pick as they stand right now.

So you're a believer of the "suck for picks" thing?
Did you think Indy did it last year?

Doesn't everybody?

The difference is, KC and JAX are doing it when there is no really good #1 picks available. Idiots.

Know what's a really sad thought? They'd both be better with Tebow.

Damn missed this post first time around. You're the 4th or 5th person to say that.
Feeling a little less secure about this pick.

Arizona scored only one touchdown against the worst team in all of sports history last week & it was a fluke.

Denver only doesn't cover if Peyton Manning takes the 2nd half to film a toothpaste commercial.

That being said, I'm going w/ SF & KC. SF wants to win to guarantee the 2 spot & Denver will likely rest guys, as their deal is sealed.

Even if they win, they need the Packers to lose, to grab the #2 seed.

GB 11-4
SF 10-4-1

@ the time I didn't know that. Tough shit for the Pack, though.
