Tice gone, a few middling assistants who aren't Bob Babich or Lovie's sons gone, Lovie stays.

I would love to see Lovie and his brood of coaches removed. But I'm sure we'll have another Ted Phillips press conference announcing change without really making change.

Lovie stays, some people who had nothing to do with yet another failed season are sacrificed.

More of the same next year.

Promote Bates, demote Tice, keep Lovie but don't extend him, wait until Urlacher retires and make him head coach.

Dave Taub gets the job and is forced to maintain most of the staff. Just like Ditka had to keep Buddy Ryan.

Hey guys. Love the show. Now that the Bears obviously aren't making the playoffs, I have some out of the box thinking for you. Do you think, and hear me out because I know he's making a ton of money at ESPN. Do you think Ditka would consider coming back to save this thing? He would instantly improve the defense. I know it would take some work to get him back here after McCaskey drove him off. Just saying.

Back up the truck and clean fucking house.

McClaskeys should have hired Harbaugh 3 years ago.

Bears didn't deserve to make the playoffs . Fucking sham, smoke and mirrors team all season. Fuck them from their arrogant coach, middle linebacker and quarterback on down.

Lovie is gone....Emery wants to win or lose with "his guy".Which brings me to an interesting question. If Lovie goes does Cutler and Urlacher go???? This team needs a lot of help...getting long in the tooth on D, and they haven't had an O line since Kruetz started to decline! :D

True, but not after starting 7-1. I would consider a change.

Hell just froze over. Scorehead and I agree. But Scorehead were you saying this 3 years ago like I was? (Actually I was touting him for OC)

I say Lovie is gone.

WHy get rid of Cutler if Lovie is gone? I know some idiots here want him gone but how are you going to get anyone better than him right now? They won't be able to draft high enough.

Urlacher plays one more year.

Is Cutler's contract up? That would be only reason to get rid of him. Otherwise I can just see getting a top coaching candidate and first thing telling him Oh we're getting rid of the QB and going with Jason Campbell. Right.

Hey guys. Hello? Am I on? Oh, OK. I've been thinking about some trade scenarios for the Bears. Since we know that Urlacher could be done, but nobody else knows that, I think the Vikings could be a good trade partner. I know you don't want to trade in division, but if you could get Adrian Peterson and their first round pick for Urlacher, I think you need to do it. What do you guys think? Oh, fire Lovie. Thanks guys.

Hey guys. Did you say Steve in Cicero? Oh, OK. Yeah this is Cicero Steve. I've got a question. Listen, all's I know is Lovie is a terrible coach, has no passion, doesn't care, and should get fired. I'll hang up and listen at your, hello? Oh, OK. I'll hang up and listen to your answer.

Has either of B&B's peeps made sure they know Sean Payton isn't coaching the Bears for at least 5 more years?

I think the Bears should just take next season off to quietly reflect on life and do some soul-searching while backpacking Idaho.

I just hope we know either way really soon.

I think honestly it may be WGN for me tomorrow. I really have great NYE plans and I don't want to blow my brains out by 6 pm. Not that I have brains to be blown out.

Tice goes, Lovie stays, Cutler stays. Lovie does not get extension. When Bears go 7-9 in 2013, Lovie walks, buh-bye to Cutler, and Emery blows the team up.

See, not disturbed.

To answer your question, Kid, I think Virginia needs to put the team up for sale. We need new blood (not via transfusion) in the ownership. That being said, what will probably happen is the status quo: Lovie gets an extension, new OC, draft OL in the 3rd & 4th rds., draft a DL in the 1st rd & a safety in the 2nd. Eke out 9 wins next season.

Also a note: Did anyone notice the hate coming from Joe Buck towards his beloved Packers? We know the Pack are his #2 behind the 'Boys. But he was definitely angling for the Vikes to win. Whatever the fuck screws Chicago seems to be in this jags favor.
