Some FSU fans chanting "over-rated" at NIU. That's rich coming from the most overrated program of the past decade.

NIU wasn't really rated that high.

All the worse to be over-rated.

agreed. The worst BCS team in college football should probably stay quiet.

What made that play happen was the shitty pulling job by the Michigan guard.

Congrats to NIU. Even though they were clearly overmatched physically (I wasn't sure they'd ever get a first down early on), they battled. I thought they might even have a chance until the Lynch pick.

I know a lot of great people from NIU and spanky and I feel for them. But, still, a great season.

Good season. Unfortunately, the performance will probably hurt future rankings of mid major teams stopping them from reaching a BCS game ever again unless they play major opponents during the season.

I secant that emotion. The computers said that NIU was worthy. I don't think it will hurt non-AQ conferences in the future.

Bottom Line...the MAC Champion should no longer be sentenced to the Bowl game in Detroit.

The can choose to go to the just as bad GoDaddy.com bowl too.

Pretty cool for NIU. The experience is more important than the win or loss.

I love how after the incredible hit, he just reaches out and picks up the football like it is a grape.

I thought they played well. It was a 21 point game but it was close.

If you really look at the stats and watched the game, it in no way should have been as close as it was.

I don't mean this as an insult, but it really is amazing NIU didn't get beat by a lot more. FSU was so much bigger and faster. It's a credit to the NIU players they didn't get a beatdown like I had to watch my team get.

Yeah. Halfway through the first quarter I thought it was going to be a 50 point game. The talent gap between the two teams was almost astonishing.

Right but it simply didn't play that way and it wasn't because FSU was making mistakes. NIU should hold its head high.

Didn't they have a fumble and a missed field goal? I'm not even sure just good FSU is, but there was a large difference in the talent that was on the field.
