A bacon and egg sandwich is great but I prefer mine without cheese. I sometimes have a hard time getting the guys at Off The Tracks to make one without cheese. Something seems to get lost in translation between the Greek at the register and the Mexican working the grill. That fucking yellow American lays in my stomach all day like a brick.

yeah my dad always makes a big deal about how when he goes out and gets a burger, he wants a "hamburger" not a cheeseburger, and that nowadays it seems default to get cheese so the order take seems flummoxed

I know it sounds good on paper, but that steak is a bad day.

Haven't had it in ages (I go discount when ordering breakfast @ McD's), but that was a great one.

Yeah, I have no idea what that stuff is. It's like some kind of hollandaise or something but not exactly.

I haven't ordered one in about 7 years, but back then I'm pretty sure it was butter.

i've always liked sausage egg and cheese better for a sandwich combination.... the sausage is usually more of a burger-type patty and therefore it's a more natural/filling sandwich. bacon's too light for me in the breakfast sandwich world, cuz when i'm going for an actual breakfast sandwich it's because my stomach is creeping with the sins of scotch past and i want something substansial to soak up the remaining toxicity in there.

see, when you're having a bagel/croissant/english-muffin encased sandwich, to me, you're going to lose the savory taste of the bacon in that ocean of bread/starch egg and cheese. i want my bacon to be a solo superstar.... it's like, people wanna hear eminem rap... not wait for 3-4 shit d12 verses for that quality dose of eminem. same principle here.

so to you BECophiles, i say peace and love peace and love like ringo starr, but deep down i've got you all labeled as baconwasters.

They should do a bacon sausage ham mcmuffin sandwich. No egg, cheese optional. They could call it the McMeatlovers.

i generally will not argue with any sandwich that includes bacon, egg and cheese, but in regards to the best breakfast sandwich ever i have to chime in that the taylor ham, egg and cheese from my native land is the finest breakfast sandwich that i have ever had the pleasure of eating. my wife was skeptical until we went back to Jersey last summer (she is not from that area) and i took her to the deli one morning to try it out. that sandwich is the real deal.

I'm forever ruined on McDonalds bagels. Even most store bought bagels are terrible. Nothing beats a New York bagel.

The bacon egg and cheese biscuit is my go to breakfast sandwich at McDonalds.

for the record i was talking about a homemade one....where bacon can be properly proportioned
and at least a somewhat higher quality deli cheese can be used
i realize store bought bagels aren't true NY bagels but it still works

I know. Others mentioned McDonalds so I went with that.

Home made is the way to go, or at an authentic deli.

Only if you're talking about the sponge bob eggs on fast food sandwiches. A quality fried egg is an essential part of any respectable home made breakfast sandwich.

exactly

the original shoutout was based on a homemade one- so nicely cooked bacon, real fried eggs, decent quality cheese.....not some fake as mcdonalds shit. not opposed to mcdonalds breakfast at times, just like jack's pizza is ok sometimes at 2am, but to say an egg shouldn't be on a breakfast sandwich is ludicrous
