No way. Paxson has been flying under the radar for way too many years. Let me know when he signs that 2nd superstar to play with Rose.

He drafted two All Stars in Deng and Noah. That 2nd superstar is notoriously hard to find. He's managed the cap well and he's improved the team significantly from when Krause was here the last few years.

I didn't know Paxson was held in any real level of esteem. He's fine ... there's probably better, there's definitely worse.

I know he took Noah even though myself and most Bulls fans called him every name in the book but a white man for it; joke's been on us as far as I can tell.

FF mentioned Deng as well; doesn't really have to be much more of a statement than that.

As far as Boozer, he was kinda put in a corner to sign him amongst the remaining chaff that year; I imagine it's possible he'd have been crucified much more for not signing him.

Noah....absolutely right, Don Tiny. I thought it was an absolute joke of a pick. Almost makes up for the Tyrus Thomas debacle. Deng....nice player. The Bulls have Rose and some other nice players. For some strange reason, they can't seem to land the other big fish. I can't do the "we could do worse than Paxson" line of thinking. For whatever reason, Uncle Jerry loves "his guys" and I'm sure Pax will be there forever if he wants.

And as far as Thibs....wins the MVP for the regular season coach of the year. I think he might be part of the reason they can't land the other stud. Does today's superstar want to play in an all-effort defense 1st system? I think the Thibs era will end in a Skiles-like fashion.
