My predicition is total hope. I'm expecting a few lucky bounces and either a ST or Def TD for no other reason then I am willing it to happen.

Their running game is good. Combine that with a couple spectacular plays by Golson and a defensive turnover in Bama territory and you're all set.
That's the problem though. Alabama's rushing defense is their strength. Golson needs to pull a Manziel for them to have any shot and I don't think he's good enough.

The looks a lot to me like the previous two times OSU was in the title game.

Don't get me wrong. Notre Dame deserves to be in the game, but it's a terrible matchup. If KSU is in this game, Notre Dame is winning another title. They'd have a good shot against Oregon too.

No one thought Louisville had a chance against Florida. No one thought Nebraska had a chance against Georgia.

Strength vs. Strength. The ND defense is able to swallow any offense whole if the QB makes ANY bad decisions.

I hope

I think it's going to be a doozy. Alabama might win the game, but Notre Dame definitely keeps it close. The smart money says take Notre Dame and the points.

Head says Alabama wins 21-17.

Heart says Notre Dame wins 24-10.

this man is clearly insane

There is no better week of football than the conference championships. College never tries to go head to head against the NFL

Some would argue that Divisional round week is better.

4 games. Best 8 teams in football.

I would agree the pros play better football, but given this last weekend's games I think the game tonight is going to be more exciting than the other 4 games.

Saban came out with a bunch of cliched platitudes in the pre game interview, while Kelly actually had some interesting and specific comments. Brian Kelly wins the pre game interview in Emeryesque dominating fashion.

Well fuck. Here I was convincing myself the last 6 weeks this would be a close game. ND's defense got absolutely dominated on that opening drive.

That was a terrible call.

The screwing of Notre Dame is underway.

The catch by Eifert was horrible too. Two HUGE calls missed by the refs so far. Maybe they have Bama and the points.

Your team's fandom is built on the idea that Jesus Christ Himself watches over the football team. I think that's enough muscle to override a bad call, n'est-ce pas?
