Punk officially out of TLC.

New main event is Ryback and Hell No vs. SHIELD in a TLC Match.

- WWE officials are working on plans to build a new full-time training facility in or right near Orlando, Florida. The new facility would take the place of the current developmental center in Tampa.

I don't think they have to build one. There's already a facility in Orlando that could meet their needs. It doesn't really look big time, but it would be for developmental.

PWTorch.com & PWInsider.com are both confirming what was first reported by PWPonderings.com last night, and saying independent star El Generico has, in fact, signed a WWE contract.

On top of that, PWInsider is saying this won't be the last big WWE signing, and that the company has "a number of names on their radar".

What does it say about shemus future when del rio wins the title on smackdown after shemus had multi title rematches and never got the belt. Months back del rio wanted out, hhh wanted him gone and now he is top face of smackdown with the belt as the E tries to get more money out of syfy in the new contract. Shemus was HHH work out body and now he is falling down the food chain on the b show...

I'm excited to see the first masked Canadian Luchador booker. It's my understanding he'll be referred to as Blake Johnson during his first three years in developmental.

Interesting question on many levels. First, while Del Rio did want out by some reports, including CrankyVince, I didn't hear a thing about HHH wanting him gone. If that's true, it would contradict most of the other commonly believed Internet items out there. Vindictive, etc. They REALLY want a champion of Hispanic descent. I don't think that's a rumo(e)r. This is probably a tryout for Del Rio to get over as a face. However, I think he's a transition for bigger plans.

Sheamus would seemingly be in a strange place. Here's a couple reasons he'll be fine. I almost forgot he had multiple rematches, and that was about one month ago. The overexposed product makes people not care about continuity. To that point, the feuds going on right now will not be much of a part of WM. Loblaw brought up the certain Orton turn, and a couple PPV's to go. You could easily see an unknown mix of Sheamus, Orton, Del Rio, Show, Ziggler, and TBD others.

Sheamus fights back to become a two-time B2B Royal Rumble winner, and faces the heel champion Orton. Who really knows? Sit back and enjoy if possible.

Plus Sheamus is coming off a run of either being champ or fighting for the belt for over a year. I don't think his seemingly being out of the title picture is an indication of anything. Everyone needs to step back.

I like the new Del Rio character mostly because I like Ricardo Rodriguez get a little more attention. That being said Sheamus is the number 1 face on Smackdown far and away. Just like last year when Punk was the face champ and Cena was still the top dog on Raw.

Del Rio was ready to quit. The guy, or multiple people, that run CrankyVince tweeted something like:

SO, DEL RIO WANTS TO QUIT HUH? MY FAX MACHINE IS WAITING. WELL FUCK HIM AND FUCK YOU.

It caused a whole deal because they officially realized someone with CV is really close to the action.

Among board members that have purchased wrestling shirts in the last five years, that is probably the most wife friendly. It certainly trumps CIJ's entire collection.

As a heel, I think he's going for more gayer.

According to a source, Billy Gunn is the new head trainer in WWE developmental. Gunn will be replacing Bill DeMott, who was reportedly released, although that is not confirmed.
DeMott had been working as the head trainer in WWE developmental since last June, when he replaced Tom Prichard.

I'd just like to point out the New Age Outlaws are now in key middle management positions of a 600 million dollar publicly traded company.

Bret Hart Not Happy with Last WWE Appearance, Backstage News on HBK and Undertaker Appearing at RAW By Marc Middleton Jan 14, 2013 - 8:46:28 AM

- WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels is considered a lock for tonight's RAW 20th anniversary show. WWE officials really wanted him there because he was the Intercontinental Champion on the very first episode. Michaels is also from Texas so he will get the big local pop.

- Another star from Texas who is expected tonight is The Undertaker. It is confirmed that he will be wrestling at WrestleMania 29 and his most likely opponent is CM Punk. We may see the beginning of that feud tonight on RAW.

- As noted before, Bret Hart was contacted about tonight's RAW anniversary show but told officials he only wanted to come back if they really had something for him to do. A source confirms that Bret was very upset that they brought him into the RAW 1000 show for what ended up being just a small ringside appearance.
