Am I the only person that was left almost completely unimpressed by the end of Raw last week? How exactly was that supposed to have the wrestling universe "buzzing"? The episode seemed like drudgery, and if not for the shitfest on ESPN I reckon I wouldn't have even stuck around for as much as I did.

Somebody please tell me everything will be okay tonight .... I'm cold, and there's wolves after me.

I'm fine, you're fine, everything is fine. Today is the greatest day ever, until tomorrow.

The Rock looking like 2001 Barry Bonds put a piece of sadness in my wrestling heart.

Whenever I see Rocky now, I think of this promo at around 1:10.

Will Ryback end a career this evening? Its gonna happen sometime. And will someone get him something to wear other than a women's 1 piece swim suit.

14. Says it's all his fault
15. It wouldn't be like this if he wouldn't have left
16. She convinces him
17. He's back

Let me add some more stuff:

18. The globe. Always sitting there on the shelf in the vignettes. Globe=World=Punk
19. The girl in the last vignette says: "You have brought this upon yourself." Which is many things:
a. Punk claiming to be the best in the world. Stealing that title from Jericho
b. At least three other wrestlers have used Jericho finishers in the recent past, with Jericho bitching about it on Twitter
c. Jericho not being included in the new WWE video game
d. Jericho quitting rather than getting fired. So he did truly bring it upon himself.

More from the last vignette:

"A familiar force shall arrive to claim what is his"
a. The title of Best in the Word
b. The actual title belt

"She holds the mystery of my rebirth"
a. Steph turned to Y2J after Vince and HHH failed with Punk. As well as Laurinaitis.
b. She teased him that he's no longer Best in the World. His ego couldn't take it.
c. It explains how he gets his vignettes on each week, as well as how he just shows back up. Because Steph has the power to do so.

"For when I beckon her, I will return to claim what is mine"
a. Steph told him, "Just say the word, and I'll make it happen"
b. Claiming what is mine has already been discussed above

"She has spoken, it is time"
a. In the video the girl is whispering in his ear again right before that was said.
b. The boy has clearly had enough and is pissed

"The end of the world as you know it is here"
a. The end of Punk, the best in the world.
b. Jericho is here.

All that said, I still can't understand how Amy Winehouse was in attendance.

I have to admit, I am a complete and utter tool.

I have been telling you that for years man.

This has to be better tan the 1000 RAW. That was such a letdown.
I won't mind HHH if it is done right. I mean I hope to all that is holy they do not trot out DX unless it i the entire crew.
I really want to see Austin Stun either Paul or Sandow.

I personally <3 how the third hour has basically spawned the world's most wanted television program: THE VINCE MCMAHON COMEDY HOUR.

don't fill that extra hour with actual wrestling.... let's find out what that crazy HOO-AH AJ is up to!

I like using the 20th Anniversary platform to get a current performer over.

I keep hearing stories about established guys, with two strikes, needing time off for non-drug related personal issues. Family issues. Sounds like we don't want them to go to TNA issues.

Randy was just off for a month and he's leading up to WM which is usually their biggest paycheck of the year. Unless he's a fucking idiot(which is highly possible) you don't take off Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania.

Seth Mates ‏@SethMates
Orton losing clean in seg 2 = sign of bad news on horizon?

What really impressed me so far is that they managed to not show any dead people in the opening montage.

They just did an entire gimmick segment based on mocking a stuttering problem. Be a *Star!

The Shield had better finish strong tonight.

I thought this was a special show? I'm longing for a Max Moon match.

OMFG KAITLYN IS DIVAS CHAMPION?!?!? dude i thought all that internet stuff was BS... this is the first time the internet was right about anything.

now, on the 1000th raw ever like some milestone anniversary, a big interview/vignette segment setting up a punk/broadus-clay feud?

seriously, that is perhaps as symbolic as one can get describing "the E" nowadays

Again, I like them using the added attention to build current guys. But from a surprise factor, this has been the worst promoted RAW to date.

If Flair came out in a wheelchair, selling a backstage beatdown from Punk, I think I might have a Redd Foxx moment.
