With a better Oline, they can absolutely compete for a division title next year. It was still like week 12 or 13 when the Bears were in the drivers seats for the #2 seed.

The defense is going to get worse. It just has to unless this is one hell of a draft. But, they better be drafting OLs and a TE first but maybe they can get a LB in there.

The offense needs to improve significantly to offset that since they still couldn't beat good teams this year with the D where it was. Competing for a division title is nice but they were not one of the top 3 or 4 teams, even in the NFC, last year as it was.

All I've heard is DeCamillis as Assistand head coach and Special Teams Co and Kromer as O-Line/OC

Ever since Bruce Weber was cut loose at Illinois, Noisy has been searching for a new undistinguished coach with questionable credentials to champion.

 That's funny then. I'm lukewarm to this at best. This could be a tremendous failure. Odds are that it will be. Most NFL coaches fail - from all pedigrees.

I'm just taking that controversial stance of being realistic. Lovie got fired. I wasn't real excited about that but I understood that it had to happen. But, doing that, this is what you get. You get a bunch of guys and you reach in hope you pulled out a winner.

The guy seems smart, has experience with Cutler and offensive success in the NFL, he's been a head coach for a number of years - again - with success. This is probably the best you're going to get in the current market.

Show me the guy that I should be outraged they didn't get? Arians? I'm not outraged. I'd have questions about him, too.

Trestman's history and his approach to staffing and offense just seems to be a fit on paper for where the Bears are right now compared to all these other guys. But, I'm not super-excited about it or anything.

Dr. K's love of Trestman could be as damaging to his brand as Terry's Peeps love of CJH has been for him.

You are a smart man, but you don't know what love is.

Dr K is just being honest and realistic. He is making sense. Something that doesn't happen all too often in this section.

My brand has never been more esteemed.

Instead of sitting back and accepting the status quo of sports radio, I am leading the way to a brighter future.

You can change too. If you're not afraid.

Take the pledge.

Immoral drugs can help with that.

BTW, I've been meaning to ask. Any problems with using the LoHo Debit Card?

I'd never used that service before.

None at all.

When I used it, the guy at the register laughed at the picture.

the reason it's kicked back is because the alouettes would score a rouge if it went out the back of the endzone. So the argos have to kick it out to prevent the alouettes from scoring points

What the hell is a rouge? Is Trestman a rugby coach or something?

Who is this man I'm in love with?

What the hell kind of league is that?

Pretty sure there was a player next to Trestman on the sideline with a glass eye at about 0:26.

It's one point for a touchback or a missed field goal that lands in the end zone.

So, I give a big ol' shoulder shrug to all of these guys. Trestman? Sure, try it. Whatever. You fired Lovie so...here we go.

You should also point out that the Colts far exceeded expectations this year. At the beginning of the season, the Colts were regarded as a laughingstock but concluded 2012 as one of the "teams to watch" for the future.

Well, then people are stupid because they sucked last year because they were forced to stick Curtis Painter in as QB. It's amazing what can happen when you take an 11 win team from 2 years ago and stick a "once in a decade" franchise QB and a couple other high draft picks in.

He did a decent job but it shouldn't have blown anybody's mind that the Colts could actually be good again with a halfway decent QB. And that's all they were...good...good enough to beat the Jacksonvilles and Kansas Citys and Clevelands and Buffalos of the world.

I'd pull up your thoughts about the Bears beating the Colts in week 2 if I cared enough.

Your perception of the Colts at the beginning of the season is off as is your belief that smart people thought they would be good. There was absolutely no reason to believe that Wayne would revive his career and they lost Garcon in FA. They also lost Dallas Clark. Their line was in shambles. Their defense was in the first year of a switch from 4-3 to 3-4 with players many thought did not fit the system. Freeney got hurt. This team had all the makings of 4-12.

Interestingly, if the Blue Jays are allowed to convert the SkyDome to natural grass, the Toronto Argonauts will basically cease to exist, which will drastically change the face of the CFL.
