Two Brothers no longer has Resistance IPA as an all year long offering. It will only be offered as a seasonal from here on out.

Just had some Southern Tier Hopsun with my lunch and it's pretty good for a summer wheat - reminds me of Oberon with a hop backbone. I'm beginning to really like Southern Tier's offerings.

Can't go wrong with the Founders. I like the Left Hand offering. I've wanted to try the two brothers stout. Can't help you on the IPA's.

For those in the Chicago, be on the lookout for Bell's Hop Slam. Just grabbed my first 6er last evening at Sal's Beverage World in Addison.

Schaumburg Binnys Hopslam update (1:30 p.m. today): They have seven cases left. I did not see a limit sign. I only bought two six packs.

Since no one else has mentioned it, please allow me to recommend the Firestone Walker. Definitely the best IPA on that list IMO.

So that's their IPA? I had a Firestone IPA I enjoyed, but didn't remember the name. I would agree with ZM.

They have a few (they are from California after all), but that's their most widely available double. Parabola, their imperial stout, is also awesome and should be an insta-buy if you ever see it.

Firestone has Union Jack which is a nice IPA. Double Jack is the IIPA which is much better. They also have Wookey Jack which is a mind blowing Black Rye IPA.

So new topic for the heck of it. If you had to limit your beers to three breweries which ones are they?

I'll go:
1. Southern Tier
2. Three Floyds (god they better start making more then)
3. This was my hardest one, but I'll go with Lagunitas

Apparently Binny's Schaumburg sold out 30 minutes after I left.

And Vince, my wife picked up a bottle of hopsun and we had it with dinner. I am not a hops fan at all but that was awesome. That would be a beer I'd always like to have in the fridge. I think even the Bud/Miller people would like that. Thanks buddy.

And if anyone likes their porters, I'm drinking my 1st ever Deschutes Brewery beer-Black Butte Porter. The hype is well deserved. Top notch.

I've called the liquor store by my house everyday since Monday for Hopslam. Apparently I have a drinking problem.

Not at all. You have an inventory problem. The drinking part is fine.
