There were some exceptions, but what a difference in level of play after a season of watching the Bears.
No mental errors, like Hester running backwards, letting a fieldable ball bounce or fielding a ball he shouldn't. No miscommunications between QB and receivers. No coaching errors in clock management, time outs, or just getting a play called. No stupid 5 yard penalties for blowing the time clock or jumping offsides. No blocking assignment mix-ups with rushers coming through untouched.
I think, except for TE and O-line, the Bears athletes are at least as good as most in the NFL. That also makes me think that we wasted a decade with Lovie. I should have realized it years ago.
