Well ESPN is reporting that Miami is looking at Bo Pelini, I see him staying at Nebraska, unless Nebraska was really mad at him after the A&M game, if you watched that game I would have been mad too if I was the coach at Nebraska.

Of the guys ESPN says, this is probably the one guy that gets me excited, kinda of intresting they won't say Leach's name, I have only heard it once and that was because Donald Trump brought up Leach.

I can't imagine any reason why Pelini would leave Nebraska who is about to enter the Big 10 and all of the money that's associated with that.

Miami, like Notre Dame, needs to realize it's 2010, not 1990. Your job isn't this holy grail anymore for a lot of coaches.

The right coach can definitely do well there with the amount of recruits in the state (especially being in the ACC), but to think that you are going to pull coaches from other major programs is all sorts of arrogant.

Well ESPN is reporting that Mullen is out, a little glad, got Miss. State respecatable, but only done it for 2 years and it could be because a certain job opened up on Wednesday, at least we think.

Well collegefootballtalk.com is reporting that Miami is focusing on 3 guys right now, Al Golden of Temple, Randy Edsall of Uconn, and a surprise Marc Trestman from the Montreal Alouettes, to me none of these guys really get people excited.

One of the Florida papers is reporting that a new coach could be named soon, so you would have to expect 1 of these 3, Golden and Edsall may not be their long, because they think that 1 of them will be the next Penn State coach, so that could leave Trestman. That would look good, the U had to go to Canada to get a coach.

This should be interesting. I don't know much about the Temple guy except that his name sounds familiar for some reason other than him being at Temple. Not sure what this CFL guys background is aside from his current gig, but I can not see him being a force in the recruiting game. '

They might as well get Bernie, Michael Irvin, Edge, ghost of Sean Taylor on staff to help bring back the swagger.

Randy Shannon is now the linebackers coach at Arkansas, thought it was a very good hire by Bielema.

UMN will be happy.

Because he was too good at keeping his players out of jail?

Imagine the Alumni you have to deal with there!

Irvin, Winslow, Lewis, Sharpe?, Sapp etc.

I think these guys just dont give money and say WIN, I would guess they give some money and then sit in at practices and criticize.

Im just going to put this here, is the stuff going on with Miami, did the NCAA botch this or did somebody not do it the right way.

I would say the best thing to come out, would be the NCAA say what Miami did already with no bowls be enough.

They have missed 2 bowl games, 1 conference championship game and given up scholarships on their own for shit that mostly happened quite a long time ago. Close the book on this clusterfuck of an investigation already and just go with the penalties that have been served.

The NCAA failed on this one. Hopefully they do better when they catch Miami cheating again in the next few years.

Amidst all this Miami talk yesterday I feel like the Purdue hire of John Shoop went under the radar.

Thankfully no one noticed.
