The White Sox have agreed to sign RHP Matt Lindstrom to a 1 yr contract with a club option.

Million dollar arm and a 10 cent head.

I think it's a good signing.

Good signing. I like their pitching staff

The terms haven't been released yet. I'm thinking it's around 1yr/$5M with a $500,000 buyout. Lindstrom has a great arm but the term 'immature' followed him around early in his career. He's put together a couple decent seasons so maybe he's grown up a little. Should be a fine 7th/8th inning guy

I like the starting staff, but I'd like to see other verteran besides Crain and Thornton in the pen. I like the Lidstrom move.

Thornton to me is kinda like Lovie Smith. He's good, not great anymore, but still the Sox can probably find a guy who doesn't blow up as often. Maybe a change a scenery is best for both parties. Thornton may have another decent year or 2 left in the tank, but I have no confidence in him when he is pitching in the 7th inning or later with a 1 or 2 run lead.

Looked up Lindstrom's numbers yesterday and he seems solid to me. Reed should be one more year comfortable and improved is my hope.

You don't get a perfect bullpen unless you are the Yankees throwing down 8 figures for Soriano while having Rivera. This is a reliable bullpen with no total gas can in it

1yr/$2.3M with $500,000 buyout and $2.25M in incentives.

I like this deal a lot more.
