Johnny B's morning show on WGN is a trainwreck, & he's getting killed in the ratings. I never thought that Garry Meier could be the lead guy on a major station, but Garrys show is really good.

I don't think 720 WGN Radio bosses are all that concerned about Johnny B's ratings. He's actually doing pretty good in a couple of key demographics considered attractive to advertisers among adults 25-54.

Garry is a good listen if you get sick of B&B or if your station goes on commercial. Typically WGN doesn't do commercials leading up to the top of the hour. Whereas the Score goes to commercial 4 or 5 minutes before the top of the hour.

I've noticed that myself. I wonder if The SCORE is now on a specific wheel, where they run like 4-5 minutes of commercials between :55 and the top of the hour legal ID leading into the "Scoreboard Update".

They stick to a clock more often than not. I still remember the good old days of a :00-:25 segment.
