Nature has a crazy way of balancing things out. Unfortunatley, its not fast enough for us and has economic impacts so I can kind of agree with having hunters for this purpose. Of course, the hippie in me says just let nature figure itself out because its been doing a pretty good job for millions of years without our intervention.

Most coyotes run in packs, the lone ones you see are usually looking for a mate to form a new pack in new territory ..nature has a hard time balancing when man fucks things up like killing damn near all the Buffalo or rhino...or killing lions or wolf...removing a top predator fucks everything up.I. believe there is no season on coyote now...you can kill year round. They need to do that to Canadian geese too.

Tell me about it! There are hundreds and hundreds of those fuckers behind my house all year round. They have come to realize that man is not their predator and are now very brazen. Just a couple of years ago if I came running across the berms behind my house, they would move if I came too close and usually even take flight. Now they will barely get the fuck out of my way. They might stand their ground and hiss. There were about five or six in my parking space the other day and they didn't move until I almost ran into them.

My dog I put to sleep last month came up nose to nose with a coyote after I let him out a few
years ago right in my back yard maybe 15 feet from my back sliding door. My dog was about 70
lbs but he didn't have that big a size advantage on the coyote. Luckily I saw what was going on
and was able to get my dogs attention and get him in the house and scare the coyote off. Wisconsin
just reinstituted a wolf hunt for a brief period as well this past season and met their quota of 117.

I. Know a couple people who tried to get that wolf permit. And they entered the bear tag lottery ...I could never shoot either.

My beef with the geese is they shit all over..I like to fish n have goose shit caked on every bank in cook county
