By now, we all know that the Bulls have 3 different uniforms that they wear during games. They have the traditional white & red uniforms they wear at United Center, along with the red & black, along with the alternate black with red away from "The Madhouse".
Well, if it looks like 1995-96 all over again come Thursday, February 21st when the Bulls host the NBA Champion Miami Heat on the Bulls' favorite national cable channel TNT, there's a good reason. As part of the NBA's "Hardwood Classic Nights", the league is bringing back the most memorable uniforms of the 1990s and the Bulls will sport the black alternate uniforms with the red pinstripes for the home game vs. Miami. The Bulls will sport the black & red pinstripes for two other games, Sunday, March 3rd vs. the Pacers in Indianapolis on ESPN & Sunday, March 10th when the Bulls face the Lakers in Los Angeles on ABC.
During the 1995-96 season, the Bulls went 72-10 and sported the black & red pinstripes on several occasions en route to the NBA Championship that season. The Bulls are one of 7 teams that'll sport special throwback uniforms as part of the league's "Hardwood Classic Nights" series now through March 30th.
