Battle for first place tonight. No Noah, maybe Boozer, No Kurt. Not looking good. WTF is Rip doing in this picture?

I'm thinking RIP got one of Noah's good joints.

I don't expect the Bulls to win this one. I don't think anyone expected the Brooklyn game to be close or for the Bulls to beat down the Hawks. Indiana has won 13 in a row at home. Gibson is a fantastic player, but he's going to have problems if he has to guard Hibbard. Plus if there's no Noah or Boozer they're going to have problems keeping Gibson rested.

Joakim Noah is indeed out for a third straight game tonight when the Bulls & Pacers clash in Indianapolis. He hopes to play on the Bulls' favorite national cable channel TNT late Thursday night at the Pepsi Center in Denver vs. the John Lithgow-looking George Karl and the Nuggets in Denver.

In case you're wondering, this was supposed to be an off day for the Bulls & Pacers, but this was the game that was snowed out back on December 26, 2012 due to a bad snowstorm that pummelled Indy with about 10 inches. The Pacers won the first & only other meeting back on December 4th at the United Center.

The Pacers won the first meeting back on December 4th at United Center. The final was 80-76 as the Bulls committed 19 turnovers that night & Pacers' All-Star Paul George scored 34 points that night at "The Madhouse".

Nate with the quick two fouls. Good. Fuck him. Can't wait til he's off the team.

I'm surprised Carlos is embracing his balding hairline. Last year he was spraying. I guess he doesn't care anymore.

Love what Taj is giving them against a bigger Indiana team. I like how Boozer has played this season but I can't wait til Taj takes his spot full time.

Well he did get ripped pretty bad for that spray shit. I think I'd rather just be bald than rock that shit.

I understand why some NBA writers have put Noah's name in consideration for DPoY this year. Bulls are horrendous at guarding the paint without him. Indiana is doing anything they want to offensively tonight.

Rip Hamilton has no value.

Buckets brings us within 6. Never thought I'd say this already a few months ago, but it would be really nice to see him be able to take that next step back and shoot 3's with the same confidence.

The officiating was really rough on the Bulls. They called all sorts of ridiculous fouls on the Bulls. Bulls were down by 4 and Marco throws the ball off Hibbert. It was obvious as obvious calls go and they didn't even review. I think the NBA should allow for coaches to have some input on the review process. It's pretty ridiculous to not review something that was obviously wrong.

With the recent emergence of Jimmy, I really hope they just send his dead ass home. They could start either Butler or Bellinelli at the 2, and they even have Dequan Cook on the bench, who I think is a better option than Rip right now.

The rotation for the playoffs should look something like this:
Rose
Butler
Deng
Bellinelli
Noah
Boozer
Gibson
Hinrich/Robinson (Depending on matchup)

Everyone else can stay home.

Also, let the record show that Teague was a +12 last night, while Boozer and Nate were -23 & -22 respectively.

Every time I see this quote it must be read in Murph voice. Which is hard as this nugget is one Murph would not discuss.

Did you see this? The NBA called a different kind of foul on Joakim Noah, who missed his third straight game with plantar fasciitis. Check this out...

I get the sense he's really struggling with the NBA dress code.

It sure looks like it. Joakim Noah's not Mister Rogers.

From what I remember, Mr. Rogers wardrobe would also violate the dress code policy.

The dress code policy itself is ridiculous. Nothing at all wrong with what Noah was wearing.
