Game misconduct penaltyA player (whether a skater, goaltender or any member of any teams coaching staff) who receives a game misconduct penalty is ejected, and is sent to the team's dressing room. The player may be immediately substituted for on the ice; however, in practice, game misconduct penalties are normally assessed along with five minute major penalties and another player will serve this penalty first. Regardless of the time of the penalty, the player is charged with ten penalty minutes (twenty in the IIHF rules) for statistical purposes. This rule also applies to match penalties (see below).

In most leagues, the referee has the discretion to call a game misconduct on a player charged with boarding due to the likelihood of injury to the boarded player. However, in the NHL, if a boarded player suffers a head or facial injury, the offending player receives an automatic game misconduct.

Any player who is dismissed twice for stick infractions, boarding or checking from behind, or dismissed three times for any reason, in a single NHL regular season incurs an automatic one-match ban, and further discipline is possible for subsequent ejections. I didn't watch a second of any of the Hawks game this season. Didn't plan on coming back to the NHL or Hawks until the playoffs.

I met a new girl and she is a HUGE Hawks fan. I watched the end of last Wed. game(shootout loss), watched the Fri game(shootout loss), and watching this game and met her dad tonight. We were breaking the ice while each of the teams scored the 3 goals each.
It was crazy, he is hockey fan too, said he couldn't blame me for rejecting the project.

The bar my brothers kitchen is in gives out free Dr.'s shots whenever the Hawks score.

I'm using intermission to go watch the Sharks feed of the Desjardins hit. lolololol Randy Hahn and Drew Remenda are the biggest butthurt whiners in the league, the Sox announcers of hockey. Nothing's ever faaaaaiiiirrr!

Last year when the Sharks were struggling, some SF beat writer was doing the postgame show and talking about how the Sharks were doing poorly, and Remenda flipped his shit like a bitch. youtube it.

The few times I've listened to them I've enjoyed them. I really like Randy Hahn's call and I think Drew Remenda is an above-average analyst. Remenda does criticize their play here and there but they do come off a giant homers.

The vibe I get from Sharks telecasts is that Bay Area hockey exists in a tenuous sort of equilibrium that can only be maintained by at all times professing how awesome the Sharks are at everything.
