I think its reasonable to give season ticket holders first chance. If you have season tickets to anything it usually comes with perks like that.

Fuck the neighbors though

They always give Season Ticket holders a presale. I think the neighbor thing is new, but I don't really know.

They shouldn't. But I think it's easier to make this measly offer to shut up two of bigger crybaby groups.

I can kinda understand wanting to appease season ticket holders, but these people are mostly scalpers, and will just scalp the Pearl Jam tickets as well, so giving them a crack at tickets is just stupid.

And the Cubs owe the neighborhood nothing. They should tell them to pound sand as often as possible.

If its just for the PJ show, it could be something that the band negotiated themselves. I know there are a few venues that they will not play anymore because the venue doesn't allow them to have a presale for the fan club exclusively.

Today neighbors got first. However. I am guessing seats offered will not be as good as offered to season ticketholders.

Tickets went very fast today.but once again guessing lwess than 3000 offered today.

30 or so Wrigley Neighbors who have the ear of the Alderman and to be honest he doesnt want anymore.

Yet, as an Alderman who lives in the area and has a business in the area and is VERY tight with those in the area, he needs to really protect the businesses, like the rooftops who supported him for years. he needs to listen to the nagging "Neighbors" who will start more of a problem than they are worth.

I agree in concept the cubs should tell them all to go F off, but I do think some checks need to be kept on the cubs. While they are the primary reason the area has been so developed, they sure havent been for the last 4 years! They are about 50 %. The biggest crowds now are for Bar Crawls. Of course the bars need Wrigley as the rent is so high, but while I want the Cubs to be able to do what they want, it should not be at the expense of shutting down other businesses.

The ironic part of the rooftops, is that the cubs own a building out there. Are they only going to let their building look in?
