I think the real reason jbills wanted to "kill himself" was because he couldn't stand to admit he was wrong and apologize.

BD, JBills, and FavreFan should feel no shame for being completely wrong in this debate. They do owe me an apology but that is it.

Tebow might not be in the top 40 QB's in the NFL right now. He can move, but he can't throw the fuckin ball and when he does it's like a floating horse abortion.

Did I win anything?

Yeah. Sanchez got progressively worse as the season went along. Maybe you didn't notice.

Regarding Tebow, I'm still correct.

Every opportunity he's been given to succeed, he's succeeded. Lack of evidence isn't evidence

So, whenever Rick wants to apologize....

Answer my question please. How many more games will Tebow start in the NFL at QB?

When he played for New York, he was bad. When he was given a chance to compete for the job in training camp and the preseason he was bad.

I'll ask you the same question. How many more games in the NFL will Tebow start at QB?

They said he was bad in practice in Denver and they went to the playoffs and won a game.

He'll start at least 1.

If Tebow is going to succeed as a QB if given the chance why isn't that number much higher? I'd have to imagine that you would think he'll start 15 or 20 more games at QB as soon as evil Rex Ryan stops impeding him.

I assumed your point was that he wasn't going to get another start. I'm saying that he will. I can't predict what kind of environment he will land in or if it will be the poisoned atmosphere like the Jets was.

There's a negative cloud hanging over him now as a team distraction that wasn't there last year. But, I think he'll get a chance at some point in the next few years. He may fail. I'm not going to guarantee anything. The offense required for his success is unorthodox and I'll have no way of knowing if some unknown, future team would cater to it.

No, my point is that he doesn't have a future as a starting NFL QB. Even I won't say he won't get at least one more start. However, there seem to be people who think he has a future at QB. If you think he has a real shot at being an NFL starting QB, you'd say he'll have at least 17 more games as a starter.

So, let's go over this once more.

Not a single person on this board is willing to predict Tebow starts even 16 more games as a quarterback in the league. No one.

He's done as a QB! Everyone gave up on him!

Alright, I'll say 108 more starts not including the playoffs, Pro Bowls, and Super Bowls.

I hope the Bears sign him. It's at least its a bluff to Cutler. Right now Cutler has the Bears right where he wants them....

Not yet. Remember, it was just Rex Ryan holding down Tebow! Finally, Tim has been freed. I wonder how big the bidding war for his qb services will be?

Probably about the same as the bidding for Brian Urlacher.

According to Mike Klis of the Denver Post, if Tebow does not start another game, he will be just the second quarterback in NFL history to start and win a playoff game, remain active after that season and never start another game.

In an article in ESPN the Magazine, David Fleming writes that those close to Tebow are “privately admitting that his NFL run is probably over” — the first such statement to leak from Tebow’s inner circle, though it’s been widely assumed that the combination of Tebow’s inadequacy as a player and the media circus that follows him might make finding employment challenging.

The article also cites an NFC scout who seems to agree with that assessment of Tebow’s prospects.

“He’s not a quarterback,” the scout told Fleming. “When you look at his run two years ago, when you watch the tape and break it down, he wasn’t really doing anything that impressive. He’s a tough guy, a great leader, a great person. But he isn’t a good enough quarterback to have all the distractions that come with him.”

He WAS bad in practice. If he was so vital to Denver's success why did they part with him? The Broncos brass knew the playoff run was a fluke, and they wanted to improve. They saw him wet the bed at home against K.C. in the regular-season finale -- remember how the Broncs got into the playoffs!
If Tebow is such a quality piece of merchandise why is he still on the shelf?????

I think he has a good shot at beating out Brady for the starting role.
