She was holding up the line. I tend to avoid such inefficiences whenever possible.

If anybody gave me the middle finger, I would laugh heartily and congratulate them on an excellent comedic effort. I am a very content person, and would take no offense.

Most Judges, however, have a very distorted and skewed view of their own self importance. Deep down, some of these Judges must realize that they are actually idiots, and that they truly do not deserve their lofty position. They would view this middle finger as a threat to their fraudulent existence. Thus, they may lash out like an oppossum may lash out at a labrador retriever.

Ha ha! Sorry that I missed this until right now. I have not really been my normally sharp self since I failed to qualify for the Chicago Sports Fan Message Board Hall of Fame.

Night Court - talk about a show that has not stood the test of time. That show is now as stale as a year old loaf of bread.

NEVER speak poorly of Night Court in my presence.

I hope somebody frames you for raping the corpse of Mickey Charles Nelson Reily Mantle.

I would suggest it was the voters who failed, not you.

Here is the point. I appear frequently before Judges who I consider to be borderline morons. Frankly, some of them are well connected doofuses who happen to have the right friends. Internally, I have very little respect for these idiots, as my legal intellect is a mountain compared to their molehill.

Yet, when I appear before them, I always am polite. I say "Yes, Sir," or "Yes, Your Honor." One must respect the position, if not the Judge himself.

I think this lady's problem is that she seemed very high on drugs.

I was asked to represent someone at the last minute in an administrative court. The "judges" are part time hearing officers contracted at an hourly wage who are either low end attorneys trying to make ends meet or retirees looking for greens fees money. I didn't wear a suit to work that day but it was a repetitive client so it wasn't a request. The judge admonished me in front of a courtroom of ne'er do wells for not taking the proceeding seriously because of my attire. Now, I was making more for my five minute hearing than he would make that entire day and my work casual outfit was far more stylish than his Marshall's off the rack suit but when he was finished I answered with a respectful apology because for that brief period of time in our lives we both understood that he held power over me.

Reinhold Fielding Elmore AKA Daniel R. "Dan" Fielding was the requisite sex crazed fucking machine, the one that inhabits every Night Court.

I also enjoyed The John Larroquette Show, especially the episode with a functionally drunk Bobcat Goldwaith! Or the one where our heros fucked up the World Inch Cube and forever changed the measurement!

Good stuff!

Night Court ran for almost a decadE!

John Larraquette was to the 80s as Kelsey Grammar was to the 90s

People think (very often) that Police Officers are dicks that demand respect and will not tolerate any sign of disrespect....NOTHING, compared to Judges.

yeah because the john larroquette show lasted 11 seasons, too? not even in the same league as far as popularity. maybe in the same league with talent but grammar also has a great (pun intended) "sideshow" character in his legacy, too.

the cox/alley comparison is dead on though.

Just the whole popular supporting character on one show who keeps getting other shows and showing up in a few movies here and there.

it took me about 100 times of seeing those annoying as hell commercials for cougartown to realize that was actually Courtney Cox......looks COMPLETELY different, some really bad plastic surgery there

Actually she didn't have any surgery. Thats just what being married to David Arquette does to a person.

seems important enough for a full analysis. I will get back to you with my findings on Monday.

Interesting note: Kelsey Grammar played Fraiser Crane ON the John Larroquette Show. How do you like that one smartypants?

Having watched the video on youtube, I've come to the following beliefs:
1. She was high.
2. I honestly didn't think the "adios" was that bad, considering he just said "bye-bye" in a rather obnoxious way, however he is allowed to be obnoxious because that's one of the perks of the job. Is it fair? no, but the world is not fair.
3. It was not flipping him off that set him off, it was the fact that she said 'fuck you" to the judge that set him off at the end.

The video also makes it clear that he was in the right. 30 days is harsh.
