I was wondering what happened to her so I googled her twitter. Somebody tweeted her about her status at the Score and she said she's coming back in a few weeks. So no more drinky doing updates on the Mac and Spiegs show.

Something tells me that drinky's war with Spiegel got Mitch on the phone to bring her back. I seriously doubt drinky will ever do updates for that show again after she returns.

I'm bored.

Yes. I know. But she has been gone for a long time. Most companies only give like 2 months tops. Some women don't even take that long. I thought she had quit.

Her coming back and the Spiegel vs. Drinky thing might just be a coincidence. Sure. I know that. But maybe not!!!!

I meant most companies only give you 6 to 8 weeks of paid maternity leave. But I wasn't aware that they have to give you an option of 12 weeks of non paid leave. I think she's been gone for much longer than the 12 weeks anyway. I just thought she quit to become a full time mommy.

Whatever. The point is that things might get worse between Spiegel and Drinky since he no longer has to work on that show. Maybe drinky was holding back knowing he has to interact with Spiegel everyday. It's more comfortable and safe for him to get shots in on the B&B show. That's how Team Bernstein rolls. They don't like face to face confrontation. It's always from the safety of their show where they don't see the eyes of the enemy. And maybe Mitch called Kerry to bring her back quicker than she wanted because of the war.

Quit squirming, Beardown. You're busted! Man up, and all like that...

I can do without Abbatacola's, or anyone's, editorializing during updates (If I were interested in your cute little comments I'd listen to you on the rare occasions they're desperate enough to give you a shift) but at least he can fucking read.

Kerry Sayers makes Robin Baumgarten sound competent.

I can deal with some editorializing during updates. What I can't stand is bad snark repeated verbatim at the top and bottom of every hour. Rodewald is the worst at this, especially when twinned with bald-faced Sox love.

That's what I can't stand about Jim Rose. He has some kind of little opinion on everything. He's got to editorialize everything.

I don't mind commentary if it's insightful or clever every now and then. Score update people are never clever or insightful so they should just stick to straight reads.

Drinky tries the bad jokes, snarky comments or he'll let you know that he hates a person that he's reporting on. Like the other day Phil Mickelson was leading a tournament and drinky had to say something like "I hope he loses" or "I hate him". Something like that. Typical B&B style. C'mon. Nobody needs to hear the update guy say that they hate a golfer. Nobody cares what the update guy thinks. This sort of thing should have been taught to drinky at ICB. Or somebody at the Score should tell him. He's the only one at the station that would do something like that. Part of it is his need to be noticed. He always wants attention. He's like that with his updates and he's like that with his stupid comments on the B&B show. He thinks he's actually funny. That's the sad part.

I think Matty's tongue is planted firmly in cheek when he makes those comments.
