Yes, I hope he burns in hell for the rest of eternity but you dont get to pick and choose the parts of the law that you enjoy. He had a right to a trial had he given himself up. He would have been found guilty and either rec'd the death penalty (not sure if CT has it) or been in jail for life. Not only jail but solitary confinement since they couldnt risk him being around other inmates.
