OK, I didnt exactly meet him..I guess everyone that went to ever see him play, could say they met him, but after the Rickey H meeting, had to mention this one.

Bleacher game at Wrigley, back in the day, I am sitting front row and Tim Raines (Expo) is just stretching below us and he sees a Program fly down and he just yells "I GOT IT"...he goes running after it into CF..brings it back and says to me "Is it yours?"

I say "Nope"...he asks if I wanted it? I said Sure

Next thing you know he backs up 50 feet and tries to run , then run up the wall (Bo Jackson style) to give me the 50 cent program...He doesnt make it, so he tells me he can do it...goes back further into a full run...comes close....one more time...and there it is! He gets the program over the basket for me,,,

Yes, it was during his EXPOS years....if you know why he slid head first, then you know!

Is it because he had a huge erection when playing baseball and liked to squash it into the dirt when he slid?

He slid head first, because he has a wheel on his torso.

If the Peter Lorre mult were alive, he could start a "Claude Raines" parody thread that would have me and maybe two or three other people in tears.

Tread some new ground .... make a Commander McBragg mult that basically quotes the story and ends with "quite".

. See, this is exactly the kind of stuff that's going to tear it up at the CSFMB HOF Participation Ribbon Award Ceremony and Afterparty.

I once taunted Rondell White from the LF stands while he was with the Twins in 2006. You didn't see me start a thread on that.

I heckled David Segui at a Gary Railcats game when he was in the Northern or Frontier League (or whatever the hell its called). I asked if he was THEE David Segui to which he gave a quick smirk and then I proceeded to give him holy hell the rest of the game.

You are correct. I did not start a thread.

I most certainly did drunkenly yell at Mr White, however.

So when you start a thread it's wrong, but it's OK to tell everyone that you got drunk and yelled at Rondell White?

Never mind that it took you 2 posts to state that.

bigfan, this thread sucked. It was not a brush with fame. You could have easily posted that story in the Henderson thread.

I've never seen him angry. Only annoyed, once, at a show at our drummer.

OK, he is just a really nice guy who pisses off a number of people.

Because I have sent numerous complaints to the admin of this site about him and ....oh wait.

I once taunted Ernesto Laclau for describing himself as a "Post-Marxist" philosopher.

If you know why his conception of the world economic system is under-theorized, then you know!

One time at a Syracuse Sky Chiefs game I got an entire section of the stands to believe that I was Dave Hollins' illigetimate son and that he stopped sending child support and wouldn't talk to my Mom anymore.

Me neither. If I have an issue with someone here I'll bring it to them. Why go cry to bigfan that Beardown is a race baiting one trick pony when I can just post it in one of his inane threads. Same with SHARK. If he's being particularly annoying at a given time, I let him know. The one time I crossed the line with him a few people PM'd me and explained. NBD.
