I believe The Rock surpassed or at the very least matched Austin at some point in their run.

In what time frame did Rock carry the company in the way that Hogan did, Austin did, Cena has?

No he did not.

Sure he did.

After Austin was out with his neck injury, Rock became THE MAN.

Austin only did it for a short time before he had the Rock with him

In my opinion, it was a joint effort.

Actually, you could probably even say it was Austin, Rock, and Vince who ALL did it.

Agreed. I am going to go further and say Rock was as big or bigger than Stone Cold after he was out with the injury and once he came back. I don't think Stone Cold ever got it back. And once Rock disappeared I don't believe a clear cut top torch holder was with the company until Cena - maybe H, but he had to deal with Austin and he also had Angle as top face up until Cena took over. Rock's torch holding wasn't nearly as long as the others, but he did indeed do it. I'm not for sure all the criteria we are considering here since I jumped in the middle of this convo.

That is fair and I see where you are coming with that.

But I would argue that it was Austin 75% of that and Vince and Rock the remaining 25%. Rock and Vince were able to do what they did because of Austin carrying the load and making it possible.

Thats fair, RFDC

Basically starting from January 1998 til April 2000 was the best time for me.

If they showed those Raws on monday every week, Id watch them again. Thats how good they were.

The Rock going corporate after the fans made him a face (even as he was technically a heel) was fucking brilliant

yeah and it is pretty disappointing. I am a huge Jericho fan and I really thought he was on that career path. But I guess you cannot fault a guy for doing 2 things he loves in his life. But he ended up being real good at one and decent at the other instead of a legend in one.

He's the most talented man on the planet. We already went over this in the Raw thread.

Are we talking Jericho or Candyman Spiegel?

The Candyman would need a month off after every show if he toured outside of the same bar in his backyard.
