They act like 12 guys aren't going to make the 500.

So if she wrecks in the Duals, does she lose the pole position? If so, this would explain the move to the rear tactic.

There are 2 cars that wont make it out of both races total and Bad Brian's family owned late model is going to be one of them.

She has nothing to gain. Nothing in this race affects her pole position. Maybe if she wrecks though she would have to go back of field in the 500 with a backup?

Yes.

She has little to gain and when the inside line didn't go anywhere she dropped out of the guys going 3-wide.

If she has to get a new car or engine then yes.

I hope they're able to make the inside line work in the big race.

Maybe with more laps.

At least those guys were racing instead of hiding in their shell half a lap down.

They have to.

Maybe if they learned how to run a qualifying lap they'd still have a car.

If the former 500 champion Bayne weighed 100 lbs he would be on the pole.

They have to put bogey weight in to reach a 150lb minimum.

Getting used to Edwards watching replays and saying they need to figure out what the air is doing.

Scott Speed has a blank hood for Sunday.

That probably means Scott Speed doesn't have a sponsor.

Doc, Danica Patrick's first Daytona 500 was forgettable to say the least. She finished 38th after an early crash a year ago. I'm not holding my breath she does much better Sunday.

SHARK has a good point.

I just wanted bigfan to get on the hood TJ Hooker-style.

Everybody's 500 is forgettable if they don't win.

Whenever I see a car in a NASCAR event minus ads all over the car, that's exactly what that means. I also think RedBull might have pulled out as a sponsor in the offseason.

A great weekend would consist of Smoke or JR winning the 500 and me getting to blow up Danica's engine post race.
