He cut the thing down to about half its size, started charging for the concerts, took a big bow for all of it, and now we find out it lost $300,000 more than it did when it was bigger, had fireworks, and the concerts were free. That's so goddamn dumb I'm starting to wonder if Rahm is really Jewish.

Just book more country acts so less black people show up and stab people.

How would the members of this board be able to try various establishments around Chicago without it?

I know you're joking, but I actually used it for this purpose. I'd try things from places I'd never been before and would visit the restaurant later if it was any good.

Who goes to the Taste anyway? I have never once had the desire to go stand elbow to elbow with hot and sweaty people in 95 degree heat and eat overpriced food. But that's just me. No thanks.

So you have never been to a Cubs game in June, July, or August?

The "Fests" in the Suburbs can be pretty good. I've never been to the Taste of Chicago and I never, ever plan on going.

Park Ridge is a suburb that was created for the lower level mobsters who could not afford River Forest. I am sure they put on a fine festival.

Some suburban fests are awesome. Some are terrible.

Just like anything else.

Sometimes it can be difficult to tell if I am at a suburban fest or at FitzGerald's. They both feature mediocre food and Wishbone Ash or Tributosaurus.
