So we can pretty much agree, I'm guessing, that this is the worst week of programming they've had in a long time. But has any one segment this week been worse than the last big White Sox attendance rant, a/k/a "Bad News At Chicago & Division"?

My annoyance with them (and I know I'm not exactly breaking new ground here) is the constant couching of everything they say while demanding everyone else to either "ask the tough questions" or "get to the damn point/what specifically are you trying to say".

To be fair I think they dropped the Reggie Rose talk almost immediately, but they picked up guarding their statements again right after that with the basketball hell discussion. I picked up the tail end of a caller talking about throwing the dice with OJ Mayo. They shrugged it off as a stupid statement (which it may well be) because OJ Mayo isn't the guy that's going to put you over the top. Terry proceeded to say you need a legit number two guy, he mentioned James Harden as a possibility but wasn't sure if that would be a game changer. Shit, if James Harden doesn't do anything for you Terry who should the Bulls be interested in? Dan appeared to walk back Terry's ridiculousness by essentially saying that it would be nice to have LeBron or Durant on the Bulls but you're going to have to look elsewhere for a legit number one or two player. Of course Dan didn't say who that person might be only that that person might exist on some NBA team or somewhere in college.

Taking calls about what's going to get the Bulls out of NBA hell is ridiculous because Dan and Terry's position isn't a position. It's just them throwing their hands up in the air and acting befuddled. Anyone who calls in is always going to look like an idiot if the only correct opinion is "I don't know".

After 55 minutes of what the guys call "musings" with Chris Rongey from Noon-12:55P followed immediately by "White Sox Weekly", Ed Farmer & Darrin Jackson have the first of 9 Sox spring broadcasts from Glendale, AZ. They'll have the call @ 1:55P vs. the Dodgers at Camelback Ranch.

Of the Sox 9 spring games on 'SCR, ONLY 2 of them interrupt these 2 goofs.

Baseball sage.
