There's zero chance that Josh Smith would stay after this season.

If they don't plan on offering Jennings a max-deal, why even offer one to Josh Smith? Neither are max players.

Josh Smith is going to sucker some team into giving him a max deal and in 2 years following, the GM will be fired. Smith is basketball stupid. Great athletic talent but will never amount to deserving that kind of deal. It will look like Shawn Marion when he got paid.

Chew on this for a moment. If the NBA Playoffs started today, the Bucks would be in as the #8 seed in the Eastern Conference. They would get the #1 seed Heat in Round 1, and likely would be put in their place by the NBA Champions from Miami.

Here's the question. Should the Bucks make it, regardless if they get swept by the Heat, would the Dave Cowens-looking Jim Boylan have the interim tag removed as head coach by Bucks' management? Think about that for a while.

The Bucks are probably begging for a first round matchup against Miami. Think of all the playoff tickets they will sell for Game's 3 & 4. That's a big payday for the franchise.
