I actually love Queensryche.
Operation Mindcrime was fantastic. Empire was... meh, but when I was a freshman I did use the song "Empire" in my Modern Poetry class as a project. Kinda cool. Last night the word came down, ten dead in Chinatown!

I've seen Buckcherry a few times- once by accident when they were performing for free at Purdue in the middle of the day on the street during a college visit. Their first album is very good and must be listened to in order to grasp and truly appreciate the depths of baddity that each of their follow-ups sunk to. Joshua Todd was actually in the running to sing in Velvet Revolver before Scott Weiland was erroneously chosen. It worked out predictably for all involved.

I didn't say Chevelle was bad, I'm just saying that Pete Loeffler completely rips off Adam Jones' style of guitar playing...and he has it down to a science.

I'd see A7X. City of Evil and Nightmare were pretty damn good albums.
