Excellent work getting this back on track after those last few posts.

Not having listened, I'm sure it was one of those embarrassing "What the fuck did I just say?" moments as soon as he spit the sentence out. Kinda like when Booker T called Hulk Hogan a n*igga. I'm sure that's why Spiegel backpedaled, because he likely didn't mean to say it the way it came out.

I think that it even occurred to him speaks volumes.

So what? He has to find some way to run down anyone being celebrated? Who thinks like that?

Douchebags, that's who.

Agreed. With Terry & Stan From Bellwood following.

I truly think Stan should get his own segment, kinda the way Mike North used to allow his friends on the radio.

I dont think its interesting. Its interesting to US because Candyman is going down in flames but its not like it was a real good question. Just him being a cock.

I think Bernstein, Mac, and Silvy are all very good interviewers.

This is the one thing I really never see him ripped for.

Agreed, I think he does the best job talking sports as he enjoys all 4. He's good at balancing sports discussion as a fan and statistical "smart fan". It's just he's increasingly coming off a prissy pants condesceding diva.

What an absolute piece of garbage thing to say.

Doesnt sound like a stumble. You dont usually throw in "without a doubt" if its something you havent planned.

and yes, Callaghan is more successful in his post hockey career than Candyman will ever be in either field.

Just a dumb comment all around. Couldnt make it worse if you tried.

It was bad. But, I could see a guy who never really had success in anything else in life after that not getting in too much of a twist about it.

But, that guy, is going to take exception.

I definitely got the impression he knows he said something really stupid and graciously took his lumps.

Obviously he wasn't listening when Spiegs regaled us of his story of hitting a game winning shot in an inter-mural (semi?)final in college.

Was anyone listening around a quarter to 1 today with some really weird dialogue between Meat and Matty?

Ripping on each other in front of the Jamison hot voice chickie?

Dudes... in front of the hot voice chickie? Please.
